Flow and Leveling Additive Open Time Extender. Zinsser®'s Latex Extender is a safe, biodegradable additive designed for latex paints and primers. It can be used for latex paints and primers, water reducible oil/alkyds, water-based stains, waterborne DTM finishes, water-based varnishes and waterborne epoxies.

Helps to reduce "ropy, brush-mark" appearance often seen when brushing thick, fast dry latex paints

Will allow thick latex paint formulations to flow out smoothly when brushing

Improves spray applications by improving the atomization of heavy bodied waterborne paints at lower pressures

The use of Latex Extender will not change the overall cure time of the latex paint, but can extend the wet edge or application working time
