Rated 1 out of 5 by from Would not recommend buying These batteries are very poorly made, would only last about 15-20 min in the small shop blower. the older batteries had a shroud of rubber protecting them and was great so the tool did not slip off of surfaces and was a layer to protect against impact of any kind and these ones slip on almost anything and I can see it probably breaking the first time it's accidently dropped or something falls on it or even slips off a surface, Ridgid really messed up with this product and they need to fix there problem offer their customers a rubber that goes over the battery or at least along the bottom for grip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buyer beware I have been purchasing Ridgid for years and have lately noticed a lot of my over 5 pages of items on the Ridgid warranty site saying warranty expired??? What happened to the LSA the main reason I have been loyal to the Ridgid brand for years. It might be time to switch brands if Ridgid isn’t going to back the warranty they boast about on every ad and packaging. Come on Ridgid back your products. I also have a 9ah battery with warranty still valid and the tabs to hold the battery to the tool broke off, the local warranty shop said the tabs are not under the warranty? Then the battery isn’t warrantied, and the battery is useless.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New battery design with fewer features SAME PRICE, FEWER FEATURES! After buying these batteries I've decided to switch brands. Ridgid has removed the eject levers - a design feature that used to make their batteries a superior experience. All of the overmolding is also gone - just basic plastic here and more likely to be damaged. Even the battery level check button is cheaper. How many pennies did they save by making these changes? These feel cheap and I feel ripped off.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DEFECTIVE RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX Not registered for warranty, Defective right out of the box. Will not charge. Have more than a dozen defective Rigid batteries. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Warranty is pretty useless. Who has time to keep returning defective products!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Helping hand The battery is good. The service was better. I also purchased shop vacuum filters. I picked up one for dry and one for wet. The young woman at the human operated till noticed i had purchased 2 different types. She saved me a trip and maybe in an emergency flood the life of the vacuum and the saving of my work achive and studio.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good battery. Great quality and lightweight with the new compact case. I prefer them over the older overmold style. Have banged them around and dropped them with no issues. Gives you longer runtime but not the punch of the max output octane or exp batteries. I own about 6-8 of these batteries and haven’t had any problems with them.

I recently purchased a 2 pack of these batteries. Although it is stated by Ridgid right in these reviews, I could not register these batteries for the lifetime service agreement. It would not accept any of the serial numbers on the batteries or package...

Are these eligible for the lifetime warranty? According to the product lineup sheet "All ridgid batteries are now eligible for the lifetime service agreement"

These batteries are eligible for the Lifetime Service Agreement upon registration within 90 days of purchase. The Lifetime Service Agreement provides the original owner of qualifying RIDGID tools a lifetime of free replacement batteries, free service, and free replacement parts. This covers wear and tear or failure of the tool arising under normal usage and proper maintenance. This does not cover any malfunction, failure or defect resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, alteration, modification, or repair by anyone other than an authorized service center. Are these the hyper lithium models?
