This RYOBI 18V ONE+ Lithium-ion 4Ah battery provides up to 3X more runtime compared to our 1.5Ah standard lithium-ion battery. It is compatible with all 18V ONE+ tools to power you through all types of projects. It features professional grade lithium-ion cells to provide fade free, cord-like power. It performs in extreme weather temperatures and is engineered to be impact resistant. This battery also features an integrated LED fuel gauge to check your battery charge at all times. Best of all, it's a part of the RYOBI ONE+ System of Cordless Tools that all work on the same battery platform. Backed by the RYOBI 3-Year Manufacturer's Warranty, this battery includes an operator's manual. Charger sold separately.

It replaces one I purchased over 10 years ago that came with my edge trimmer and leaf blower, and has only just started to become weaker after much use, including blowing snow off the walk & driveway. The feature on this one which I find so helpful is the usage indicator lights, which tell me how much life is left before it needs to be recharged and when it is fully charged. I hope it deserves the 5 stars I gave it but hopefully it will last another 10 years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great deal Got this for free as a promo. I have several batteries and chargers so I gathered a few along with some spare Ryobi tools and donated them to a local group. In all these years, I have only have 2 batteries stop working. They replaced 1 for free but the other was just too old. Great reliability and customer service.

I did a complete tire swap with my impact and the battery didn't even go down one bar. I got this to replace an older 1.5AH battery and other than being heavier it seems to work well.

can the Ryobi 4ah charger also charge a Ryobi 6 ah battery or are the chargers unique to their ah rating thank you?
