This RYOBI ONE+ 18V Lithium-ion 2Ah battery starter kit provides up to 1.5X more runtime compared to our 1.5Ah standard lithium-ion battery. It is compatible with 18V ONE+ tools to power you through all types of projects. It has a compact design for less weight and reduced user fatigue. It also features professional grade lithium-ion cells to provide fade free, cord-like power. It performs in extreme weather temperatures and is engineered to be impact resistant. This battery features an integrated LED fuel gauge to check your battery charge at all times. The included will charge any 18V ONE+ lithium-ion battery. Batteries stored on this charger are conditioned for peak performance. Both battery and charger are part of the RYOBI ONE+ System of Cordless Tools that all work on the same battery platform. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect battery kit to get started with Ryobi! I bought this battery kit to use with my newly purchased Ryobi Multi-tool. So far I am pleasantly surprised with the battery life. In addition, the display of the remaining battery life is very helpful in getting an estimate of how long before I will need to stop and recharge the battery. The charger that comes with this kit is nice and compact, and also charges the battery pretty quickly. Overall, this is the perfect battery kit to buy if you are interested in buying some of Ryobi's multitude of tool options.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 2 amp capacity limits usefulness This was a free add on withe purchase of a cordless shop vacuum. I have several other Ryobi cordless tools. The extra charger was nice. However, the 2 amp battery does not hold its charge very long and limits the run time on the vacuum to a few minutes. Not a problem for me, as I simply use one of the 4 amp batteries I already had in the vacuum and use the 2 amp for quick jobs. If you are intending to do any serious work, I would not recommend buying the 2 amp battery, but spend the money on a 4 amp or larger.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Won't doesn't last!!! I bought this 1 year ago. Used it with a Brad nailer and worked great. Probably used at 5 or 6 different times throughout year. BUT just tried using it again and tbe battery won't charge......both red and green lights flashing. Did all the trouble shooting and read online this is a common thing. DISAPPOINTING!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great dependable power supply. Quite powerful for demanding tools. These are very tough. Depending on their demands for power using high-end blowers, lawnmowers, etc., you should always consider having a spare on hand to ensure job completion.

I have a Ryobi Model P2005 12" Cordless String Trimmer which takes the following batteries: P100, P103, P104.  Does this battery work with my trimmer?

If your trimmer uses an 18 Volt Ryobi battery then yes it will work.

MY P102 BATTERY OUT OF MY DRILL IS NOW FLASHING RED WHEN IN CHARGER AND WONT TAKE A CHARGE. I ASSUME THE BATTERY IS TOAST, WILL THE BATTERY IN STARTERSET WORK PROPERLY WITH THE DRILL?

Will the 2.0 Ah battery provide sufficient power to remove lug nuts from a car and van (tightened to 80 & 100 ft. lbs)?

I've had this battery for 2 months. I've only used it a few times and never left the battery pack attached to the tool. The charger is flashing both red and green while the battery is attached.

I bought a saw back in August and when I came to use it a month ago, the battery would not charge. It's flashing red and green as well. I tried another battery on the charger and it charges fine. It appears my battery that is defective. I still have to find the time to call Ryobi for a replacement.

Ryobi, are you going to change the cells in the old hp 2ah with eve cells and the new silver HP 2 ah and 4ah with the eve cells. They're the best I want all batteries with those cells. Are you changing them anytime soon or discontinuing those batteries ?
