Rated 3 out of 5 by from Missed the Mark again Ryobi Ryobi never thinks past the initial idea. I brought it back when I realized that the AC port is underneath the battery... I wanted to use it with AC and then battery backup when the power goes out in the middle of the night and I'm too hot in bed... But no you can't have both systems going at the same time because that would be too good...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid bag for the buck! 4/5 Great unit solid 4 out of 5 stars. Only bad part was speed 1 have a distinct vibration noise vs speed 2 & 3. Also would be ice if the speed adjustment went from low to high vs high to low. But that’s just personal preference.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Fan I perchised this fan for my bedroom when there's a power outages at night so I don't have to suffer when I sleep as I get to hot at night... just have to unplug the ac cord and slap in a battery.... This is a exlent fan, Works good.. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is when it's on setting speed 1 (low) it has a bit of a wine when its pluged in a AC outlet or with a 4 ah battery, but I think the reason it does it is because the fan motor is going to slow.. it doesn't do it in setting speed 2 (medium) or setting speed 3 (high)..... if it wasn't for that it would have been 5 out of 5 stars all day long... if you can handle the slit wine when it's on setting speed 1 (low) it's well werth the money.. the wine isn't eratating just have to get used to it as it would be a new sound to get used too...

The reason for the 1 star is because I could not plug it in using any of my shop extensions because they all have round ends. The plug opening should be at least a 1/16" larger. I was able to plug it in by grinding off the edges but the plug is still very tight because extension cord plug blades are not centered like the Ryobi R&D team assumed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great long lasting on a 2ah battery Works and last fairly longtime on 2ah battery, maybe 24hrs, but i never ran it straight for 24hrs. Only a few hrs here and there over a fews days or so. Of course a bigger battery would last a very very longtime. It is quiet and blows alot of air on setting 3 and all i used was setting 1 which is the lowest setting as it was cold enough for me and others.

Even on the lowest setting, it moves the air surprisingly well. It's handy with the dual power use, so even if one doesn't prefer to use a proprietary battery, the AC function is great.

The 4 volt battery that I use with it holds its charge for a long time. I’m on night number 3 with it running for 8 hours and I’m sure I gave another night on it. Great product! Great price!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Do not last long on the battery Bought 2 for the greenhouse to circulate the air, they do not even last half the day on low setting. Yes, my batteries are new. My battery weed wacker lasts longer than these fans. The fans do work well but just don't last.

Is it comen to have raddling and humming problems and gets worse when tilted up or down? Is there a simple fix for this problem?

what is the FPM (feet per minute) for this model? p.s. the 7 1/2" bucket fan model says it is 840 FPM (feet per minute).
