Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yes there is a longer magazine Okay folks, Listen up. I've seen lots of people complaining that they can't get a longer magazine. You can. Its a ridgid Model # AC102EM30N|Store SKU # 1001660552. currently $89.00 (as of June 2023) It fits with one modification: you MUST use the slightly longer rear support bracket off of the original ryobi magazine and remove & replace the ridgid one. It's a battery clearance issue. Other than that, it attaches with the two original hex head screws that held the short magazine on. And for heaven's sake, just loosen the bracket screw, and slide the magazine out, you don't need to remove it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from first died after 100 nails, second dead on arrival Worked great on first use for 100 or so nails, put it down for a couple of weeks, and useless. Tried freshly charged batteries, recharged the air, no use. Varying symptoms - pressing the trigger gives one of four results: light just goes red with no sound from tool at all, sometimes a whirring noise & then nothing, sometimes a couple of clicks and nothing, and occasionally, it clicks a couple of times and then drives a nail. Took it back & exchanged it for another (Home Depot staff was great), and it did exactly the same thing right out of the box. I have other Ryobi tools, & I'm more than happy with them. This was a disappointment & huge inconvenience. Will be returning it today, not getting another.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great nailer! Excellent battery powered nailer! Outperforms my previous Dewalt at more than $100 savings! Only real drawback is the weight, it is heavier than other battery framing nailers, but it hasn’t misfired once! My employee did have an issue trying to change nails, but used the Allen key provided to loosen two bolts on the nose, and they slid right out! Only negativity for my purchase: waited until the Ryobi Charged Up event to try the nailer and purchase if it performed well. The event staff had a nailer to trial, but didn’t have any on hand to purchase, so still had to order online (Kingston On event). I recommended that they should try and carry some stock items that the stores don’t have for immediate purchase. By the way, the staff were great and very friendly!

The big problem is the free battery was not capable of running. The nailer. It came wit a bonus 2ah battery, but the minimum battery required is 4ah High Performance battery.

Surprisingly it doesn’t chew through batteries fast at all. Easily 6-8 hours of constant use on one 4ah battery. I did find it was a tad heavier than other nailers. All in all, amazing unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ryobi 30 Degree Nail Gun Thought it did not work correctly but once you have the correct nails, the tool works great! Make sure to use 30 Degree Paper Collated Framing Nails. Note the Wire Collated Framing Nails make it more lively to fail.

Can you use 30 degree but with the paper on the nails I’m having a hard time Finding 30 degree nails and don’t want to buy the gun and not able to find nails???

will this nailer take 34 degree or only 30 degree nails

Can I use wire-collated nails in it? Also, can it drive spiral framing nails?
