Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great machine Our 7 year washer broke, the replacement piece alone was $400, so looked at washers and this model and price point seemed to be a perfect fit. Admittedly it was more a price point purchase, but after using this machine for a little over a month in a family household where mutliple loads are done daily this machine is awesome. Super quiet and does a great job cleaning. Couldn't be happier. It replaced auch more expensive machine but this one is way better.

I have a working whirlpool dryer (model YWED9050XW2) already stacked on a whirlpool washer I need to replace. Are these compatible for stacking? If so do I need a new stacking kit?

Hi, these two models will use different stacking kits. The current dryer that you referred to (YWED9050XW2) uses the stacking kit 8572546. The new model NFW5800HW will use the stacking kit W10869845 as shown on the accessories section of the product page on Home Depot. We cannot guarantee that a current model can stack with the model YWED9050XW2 that you currently own as Amana does not test backwards compatibility for stacking kits on appliances of that age.
