Rated 5 out of 5 by from LG washing machine Seems to work well for now. I’m hoping the built in obsolescence won’t kick in too soon. The washing machine washed as well as my now defunct Miele washing machine, although it is about half the weight. Imguessing there is way more plastic within it. My new LG washing machine is also way quieter. I’m pleased for now, fingers crossed it won’t break down a day after the warranty expires. I’m still not sure what an AI washing can do for me. Maybe it can detect how soiled my laundry is. I have yet to test the Bluetooth functions.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from LG 24" not a good replacement for our old Sansung We purchased this less than 2 months ago to replace a similar model by Samsung that was 14 years old that was beginning to need new parts. This LG was the same size and on sale. The valves that open to let in the water make a lot of noise and rather than open once to let in the water , they open and close 3 or 4 times in rapid succession until they finally remain open to fill the washer. Next, no mater how level the washer is or how large or small the load is the machine vibrates a lot, eben at slow rpm. At high speed it shakes the apartment and other tenants have complained. We contacted Home Depot to return it but they do not take back large appliances. On the positive side. It is more quiet during the wash than our older machine and it seems to wash the clothes better. The cycles seem much longer as well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ridiculously Long Cycle Times Just got this and would love to return both the washer and the dryer. Both take at least twice, if not 3 times as long compared to other machines. So disappointed. I liked the idea of the energy efficiency, but I doubt I’m saving anything by having to split loads and run the machines longer - especially the dryer. They are horrible.

Is it normal for a load on the Normal cycle to take two and a half hours? That is a lot longer than any washing machine I have ever had.

The washer takes into account the weight and the wetness of the load. Ours has gone as long as 2 hours.  We don't like this machine and would have sent it back after a week but HD only accepts 48 hours. Now we are trying to sell it so we can afford to go back to our Samsung 24".
