Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible taste to the water I bought this a month ago and immediately after installation there was an odor and taste to the water. I waited a few weeks thinking that the odor and taste would improve. It did not. I bought new lines elsewhere and installed them and immediately the water odor was gone and the taste improved. I tired to return the old lines to Home Deport and they claimed there was no refund as the lines were a bio hazard and I had then 31 days and the return period is only 30 days. Finally they gave me a refund. I do NOT recommend this product

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful Chemical Taste in Water Replaced an old hose with this Aqua-Dynamic 30 inch x 3/8 inch x 1/2 inch SS Faucet Hose. No other changes, same faucet etc. etc.. Now the water has an awful chemical taste to it. Absolutely foul! I suspect this hose is not compliant with the NSF/ANSI 61 Drinking Water System Components standard. It is going to be replaced by another brand of hose.

Does the 3/8 in nut come off so you can screw the male end into a female compression fitting?

The assembly cannot be dismantled. I suggest a 3/8" male/male brass union (I used this option) or an alternate hose assembly with the required end.

Picture and description do not indicate what the end connectors are. So have to go to the store to have a look.

Left of the picture is a 3/8" compression fit, typical for the valve ends and the pipe side. The right of the picture is 1/2" fixture end which is typical for sink faucet hookups. The description states what each end is. Bought it previously for a sink hookup.
