Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great blade, even better value! I've had this blade in my saw for 3 months, I use it every working day as a carpenter. I originally bought these as a band-aid while waiting for my Diablo's to be sharpened. I haven't had a reason to take this out of the saw yet. I"ve cut just about everything with it, baseboard, solid maple crown moulding, melamine, plywood - everything basically. I always get very good clean straight cuts. The blade runs true and doesn't deflect or bog down while cutting. After 3 months and thousands of cuts later I'm still on the first blade. It always help to clean the pitch off the blades every so often to keep it sharper longer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for casual cutting. I certainly would not buy this blade if I were a pro, I would spend the extra money to get a more rugged and known brand / model. This blade, however, is great for the DIY and handy-person type work. I certainly cuts better than the dull blade I replaced. It was straight (no wobbling), sharp, and a good direct replacement 10" blade. It has already started showing wear and will not hold its edge as long as a pro would like. I did two medium sized decks and cuts are getting slower and sloppier. Not BAD, just that the sharpness is starting to wane. If money is no problem - get a better blade. If you're on a budget or don't do a lot of cuts, this blade will work well for you.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not good for laminate Bought this to rip a few laminate blades. The 140 teeth count seemed good as the experts say the more teeth the better when cutting laminate flooring. I got half way through the first the first plank with difficulty. The saw was jamming and the laminate was burning. Pulled the saw out and never used the blade. It was new first time using it. Very disappointed. I ended up using a jigsaw with laminate blades and worked like a charm. Don't buy this as a cheap alternative to expensive laminate blades you can use for a project and throw away. You won't get past the first plank.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great saw blade I wasn't expecting such a smooth cut from a 40 tooth avanti blade but this saw blade really surprised me. Smooth rips through solid oak flooring. Cut through melamine, and painted mdf without any chips or tears. Mind you, I did run it through the saw at a slower speed but it did a fantastic job. Did such a great job on my table saw, decided to get a 12" 80 tooth for my mitre saw. Avanti Pro's are giving my diablos a real run for their money. I've only been running them in my saws for a month so I can't comment on longevity. If I get 3-4 months out of each and at least 1 resharpen I'll be very happy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor Plywood Cutting Bought this today. Did 2 test cuts on cabinet grade plywood. Tear out was awful. Unusable for cutting plywood. Probably ok for fir, cedar and other softwoods. Do not recommend for good plywood.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product and value I originally purchased a 150 tooth blade thinking it would be great to make nice precise cuts for a laminate floor and molding and my 40 teeth that came with the miter had done it's time cutting 2x4s but it was a disaster. After talking with the HD guy he suggested 60 teeth would be better for this aplication so I purchased this value pack to replace both my table saw and miter saw. The blades cut through the laminate floor like butter. I'm very impressed with the quality of this pro version. I had not even realized that this is the same company that makes Diablo, just middle of the road, which is perfect for me. Also I saw a review saying it does not fit Ryobi. My miter saw is a Ryobi and at first I had the same impression as it seems that the bolt did not go all the way through the hole of the blade. Knowing this was next to impossible I measured both old and new and they are exactly the same. Simply rotating the blade an inch one way or the other and it goes in perfectly and everything works fine. This value pack is really worth it because even if Diablo last a little longer, you're getting two so you'll do a lot more mileage and in my case was able to replace two for the price of one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth the money An excellent set of blades but the arbour bore seemed too precise, even +/- 0.0001 would have been good. The bore measured 5/8” exactly on a vernier, I love precision but don’t like feeling like I may be deforming the blade or the arbour bolt when the tightening of the arbour nut is the only way for me to push the blade on. I love these blades and all three qualities that this company offers, you can’t go wrong with them. Clear when needed and they work super hard before they need to be sharpened.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic blade - Fantastic Quality I just bought this blade to start doing new baseboards around the house. Things are so expensive lately that anywhere I can save money I'll take it. I have a Dewalt mitre saw, and was going to buy the Dewalt version of this blade but saw that it was basically double the price, so I figured I would try this one. The cuts it was making were as smooth as when the boards were purchased. Maybe even more smooth. I'm not a heavy user, so I can't speak to someone who would use it for their job, but for home use it's great. It's a fantastic blade, and I couldn't recommend it enough for people in my situation who are working on home projects and need a good quality blade for cheaper.

ok so what is it, 5000 rpm or 6000 rpm max revs? How can anyone trust a company that can't even check if the writing on their product is correct or well translated. Sorry can't buy this product.

Asked by: jack
6000 rpms max is what is written on the packaging. (I believe it's the same company as the Diablo saw blades which are their higher quality ones that cost a fair bit more.) I bought these blades in Jan of 2018 and would say the quality is decent. I still have the first blade (of two in the package) on my table saw and expect it will continue to serve me well.

How are these for cutting 3/16 Lexan and acrylic?

Asked by: Staniloo
Hello Staniloo, These particular blades are not recommended for cutting any plastics, acrylics, polycarbonates, etc. We do make blades that are specifically designed to cut these. These blades will prevent melting and swirling when cutting these types of materials. This blade will cut plastics/acrylics up to 1/4" in thickness: https://www.homedepot.ca/product/diablo-10-inch-x-80-tooth-carbide-tipped-mitre-table-saw-blade-for-aluminum-cutting/1000152640 If you require more product information or if you have any questions please contact us directly at canadasupport@freudtools.com or 1-800-263-7016 and we'll be happy to help!
