Rated 5 out of 5 by from eggs! I have this egg boiler for a few years. I use it now and then...each time I need boiled eggs. It takes some time to cook the eggs, but I don't really care as long as I don't have to keep the time. I prefer to eat soft boiled eggs and it is quite easy to do it. Just use the right amount of water. The only time I don't use it to boil eggs is at Easter. I've never tried poached eggs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this egg cooker I have used this egg cooker for about 10 years, and replaced it twice with the identical version, which works exactly the same as the original. I replaced it because it was starting to look rather old and I was afraid it might not work some day - and I just didn't want to be without, even for the amount of time it would take to find a new one. My daughter gave me the first one. We use it for soft cooked eggs in the morning and to make hard cooked eggs to keep on hand for snacks and salads, or to make egg salad sandwiches. Now that the medical profession has decided that eggs are healthy and don't need to be limited, we eat lots of them. Just follow the directions and be certain to get the eggs out of the cooker the minute the buzzer goes off. I have a bowl of ice water ready to cool the eggs quickly when they come out.

I took it into the office a few weeks ago and now a whole bunch of the guys at work are bringing eggs in every morning. This cooker is doing double shifts each morning churning out nicely boiled eggs for our staff!
