As the problem with the lawnmower is not the unit itself, just this horrible battery pack that it requires. I purchased a Dewalt 2XV Lithium-Ion Cordless Brushless Lawnmower Last year (2021) it came with 2 of these batteries. I used it a handful of times last year, This year (2022) on my four use of the mower, the one batter pack will not hold a charge. Battery lasted a total of 9-10 uses.. and now its no good. If you see the cost of the lawnmower its only $650, that's the cost of 2 batteries. Given that the battery only lasted 10 times tops its cheaper to pull the old gas mower out, paying $330 +taxes for a battery pack every year is not worth it, Gas is way cheaper. Dont buy this product

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great power but bigger than standard These are a great deal if you want a long lasting battery that can deliver good power to high draw tools. However, it is wider, longer and much heavier than even the 5Ah batteries by Dewalt so beware of this before you buy. They are also designed so they do NOT fit on the dewalt adapters that allow their 20Vmax batteries to be used on older 18V nicad tools. These 2 negatives dropped the rating to 4 stars.

Other Dewalt batteries are working great for me, but this one is a major disappointment. I would not recommend Dewalt products that require this battery. Stay away if you value piece of mind

Is this a single battery, or a 2-pack? I need a backup set of 2 batteries for my lawnmower. If this item is only 1 battery, then it is cheaper to buy a 2nd lawnmower vs. purchasing just a second set of batteries... which is crazy.

Can I leave the battery in the charger once it is fully charged with the charger plugged in?

Yes, the battery can be left in the charger after it is done charging. For long term storage, we would recommend fully charging the battery and storing it out of the charger. Ticket #3001769

Good Morning, I purchased these batteries but the Dewalt 2 chargers (1 old, 1 new) that I have will not actually charge the batteries.  What charger do I need as a minimum to charge these batteries?
