Rated 1 out of 5 by Scott S from Poor 1-1/4" adapter fitment I returned this item because the adapter for use in a 1-1/4" hitch receiver does not fit properly into the bike rack. Both items are fabricated by the same company and the adapter is included. However, there is a significant amount of play between the adapter and the bike rack which causes the rack to droop down towards the ground. For my car, this provided only 4" of clearance between the bike rack and the ground, causing the bike rack to hit the ground on sloped driveways, etc. I would not recommend purchasing this unit until the company resolves this fitment issue.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Neil from Way below expectations Very disappointed with this bike carrier, looks like a quality company that deals with truck/car accessories, but I got what I paid for. Had it for two weeks, the metal part of the straps got rusted with just one day of rain, very poor quality of elastic straps, two buttons on the straps already came off (bad stitching), the entire carrier rattles during motion, an overall poorly made product. And, one more thing, I had to spend over $50 to buy a socket wrench set to remove the bolt too switch it to my 2" hitch hole (it came already assembled) but they painted over the bolt, an adjustable or pipe wrench couldn't loosen and do the job. Overall, a poor quality product

Rated 3 out of 5 by AAGG from Juste OK, pas pour les longues distances Beau concept mais beaucoup de mouvements (lousse) dans l'ouverture de l'attache remorque 2'' et dans le pivot du bas. Aussi, j'ai eu besoin d'agrandir les trous pour le pivot du haut car les trous n'étaient pas du tout alignés et il était impossible d'insérer la goupille pour barrer le support en position ouverte. OK pour le prix payé (avec rabais) mais je ne ferais pas des centaines de km de route avec ce support.

Rated 3 out of 5 by ARev from Works but not great. I bought this because the price point was good and we have 4 bikes, but it’s very difficult to get 4 bikes on. You have to line the holes up and it’s hard with the bikes tangled and close together. Usually takes 2 of us to force into position. It also takes quite a bit of time to put the hardware onto the bikes. Speaking of that - the shape of the hardware the bike is supposed to fit in doesn’t fit with the new geometry of high end mountain bikes. So we have to literally hang the bikes bringing them closer to the ground. So we’ve made it work but I’ll probably be shopping for a new one next year. This product is probably a better option for road bikes that don’t have rear suspension in the way and more traditional frame geometry.

Il y a beaucoup d'espace entre cet adapteur et le support à vélo. Ce qui met beaucoup de pression sur le support à un seul endroit, jusqu'à pratiquement le tordre. Malheureusement j'ai du retourner ce support, même si le système d'attache des vélos est bien fait.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Bruce from Hitch Mounted Bike Rack I was very happy with delivery etc. Unfortunately I can only hang one of our two bikes on the bar because of the frame design of the 2nd bike. There's not enough room between the cross members to adapt to the hanger.

Yes you can. As long as you don't have a steep driveway. You might bottom out on the road with the end of the rack as you enter the driveway.

WIll the rack carry a step-through type adult bike (ie., one with a very low crossbar)?

no you have to buy a attachment that looks like a cross bar on a mens bike.this rack is good except the straps that hold the bikes bar are poorly stitched and can tear off if tightened securely.
