Rated 3 out of 5 by from Well average Very average washing machine. Water gather on inner window and silicon seal, the user guide tell you to wipe after each load was not really happy about that. The front door latch seemed loose in original position. Changing the door of side is not super. The alignment is off and door would not latch. Had to fidget with it for hours before the door latch would align properly. For price range, I was expecting more quality. This machine mix water with detergent in the drop cup (always water in the detergent cup). I think it is by design. Soaking levels seems fine and spin is decent. The noise level is decent too. Clothes are well cleaned at least.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Electrolux HANDS DOWN BEST WASH This is our second Electrolux washer. The first one we had for 14 years and this is the replacement. The controls are really easy to use and set and there are so many options if needed. My clothes are very clean, the whites are nice and bright and I love the soak option for these loads. We are ‘forced’ to buy Electrolux because it’s the only brand with a reversible door but are really happy with the brand and function. Our previous machine never had any major issues, until the end where the drum was banging (we are big overloaders) but after 14 years we expected it was time for a new one. Hoping we have as much longevity with this new machine.

Le fini est magnifique; par exemple, la cuve est en inox et éclairée de l'intérieur. J'apprécie beaucoup avoir le temps de lavage choisi; aussi, un lavage normal est environ 40minutes ce qui est plus court que plusieurs autres modèles que nous avions considérés. Le linge sent extrêmement bon après le lavage et est bien essoré. La laveuse n'est pas trop bruyante. En somme, nous sommes très satisfaits de notre achat.

So many options which I like and is easy to navigate through. I had a sud saving unit (for 35 years) and they don't make any more. I had this since I live out in the country on a well and need to conserve water. It was time to purchase a new one and heard Electrolux was a top brand. That certainly holds true. The only feature I wish it had was spin only but that's just a minor thing. I will need to replace my dryer one day and am looking at heat pump dryers. I hope Electrolux invests in this new technology.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Less wash time, more dryness This Electrolux 6series washer saved l lot of my time. I used to have GE washer, usually a normal wash is like more than a hour. But now, with Electrolux the normal function is 47min and there is also the 15 quick wash too, this was wonderful because my work schedule makes my personal time short before I go to sleep, if I put my laundry to wash, I can finish washing before dinner. One great feature is that the clothes is very dry after washing compared to my old washer. The touchscreen is easy to maneuver and all function visible for selection. Overall, highly recommend this washer to busy worker who has little time for laundry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked as expected! We bought the washer dryer set 3 days before we left for vacation. We had a pile of clothes to wash, as our previous dryer stopped working. The washer is quite even though some reviews I read said it was loud. There are a variety of wash cycles to choose from. My wife loves the hand wash cycle. We registered both the washer and dryer with Electrolux and got an additional year of warranty. We also bought the additional 4 years of warranty, so we should be good for a few years. Just hope we don’t have to use it. I think the additional warranty is worth it since these new was have more electronics than the old ones. So far very happy and would recommend this washer.

Our last samsung washer was always stopping on the drain cycle so I thought I would venture out and spend 2500 on a new pair. Well I got it set up this evening and went to wash a load of 5 towels on the towel cycle. During the spin cycle the machine was shaking so violently it bounced to the back wall in my laundry room and ripped the wall outlet apart. I moved the machine back reorganized the 5 towels on spin twice more with the same outcome. Needless to say not impressed at all the new purchase. I would review the matching dryer but the towels are too wet to put in it.

What is the range for temperature if set on HOT? For example, what are the temperatures on normal and heavy duty washes with temperature setting on Hot? Does the machine heat input water or does it also require a hot water hose?

Hi, Kate! This model require both hot and cold water connections to properly function. It is recommended that you set your water heater 120 F or higher to ensure proper performance during the wash cycles. The wash water is heated by an internal boost heater to a maximum of 152 F as the load tumbles. I just received my new washer. I noticed the rubber gasket on upper left side seems to malformed and bulges , as if it’s not put in properly. Has anyone has this issue? I’m worried water might leak out from the door.
