Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Maching I bought this machine two months ago, to replace a set I had for 17yrs. I was looking for simple and basic. I don't need all the bells and whistles. It's easy to use, has a large drum and looks nice. The normal setting on this takes 86minutes which is almost double the time my old set took to dry. I'm not overly impressed but it does the job for now. Hoping it will hold up for years to come...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Faulty dryer Baught the washer first in 2018… so far so good. The dryer???? A whole other story. Bought it at the end of 2019 just before Covid hit. After a year and a half we had to call the service center. It would not start. When hitting the start button it would act as the door was open. Boom! Circuit centre was gone and it was replaced for free as it was under extended warranty. Guess what just happened just last week? Same exact thing! Circuit centre must be gone again!!! Something is causing one of the most important parts of the dryer to fail! Now the warranty is gone… that is a pretty expensive part to replace! We sold it for parts and purchased the cheapest dryer we could find!!! No matter what you pay….. these appliances do not last!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Clothes get stuck, stop drum, then belt breaks I have had the dryer for a year, and clothes have always tended to accumulate near the front of the dryer and get stuck in the front dryer seal. This happens regardless of the size of load, and the clothes get stuck anywhere in the circumference of the seal (top, bottom, side). This causes the drum to stop, and on numerous occasions the belt was broken because the motor was still trying to turn the drum. I have never had a dryer require so much maintenance.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great looking lemon We bought this drier on 6th of February 2023. I tried to use it, but isn’t working. No warm air is coming in the drier. To contact Electrolux is a major undertaking. It took us hours on the phone. After contacting them, they sent us to companies, in total of five, who do not repair gas dryers. Last week finally we found a company who repair gas driers, but they didn’t have the necessary parts. They placed the order and now we are hoping/praying that the part will arrive and they can our dryer this week. In the meantime we need to go away at the end of the week, can’t be postponed, my laundry basket is overflowing with clothes we need to take with us, we are frustrated . This Electrolux appliance is a huge disappointment for us. If we would have the possibility to return it we would gladly do so. I would not never recommend it to a friend or enemy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Works great except for lint trap coming out I purchased this dryer in Oct 2021. I was drying clothes and the lint trap somehow during the cycle became loose and mixed in with the clothes and apparently at the bottom of the lint trap is an opening to the mechanics of the dryer. Well low and behold when I went to get my clothes they were still wet. I noticed the lint trap was in with the clothes so I put it back and started it and to my surprise the dryer was making all types of noise so I stopped it. This is when I realized tons of my clothes went through the lint trap and were lodged in the underneath mechanics of the machine. I got some out and ruined quite a few of my clothes trying to free the machine of my apparel. PRETTY MUCH DO NOT BUY THIS DRYER and IF YOU DO BEWARE OF THE LINT TRAP. First I thought my kids didn't install it right, until it happened to me after I check the dryer lint trap. Obviously a manufacturer defect. I would like contact on how to fix the issue with out replacing the entire machine.

We find the Electrolux dryer dries very well and we used recently to dry three blankets at the same time and dried all three blanket very well and did not have to do a time dry after the initial dry cycle.

Electrolux sent a replacement 2 weeks later and it sounds basically the same. I will never buy Electrolux again. I can't believe this is what you get for $1500...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does the job! Enjoying the dryer and it's functions so far. I didn't realize it doesn't come with the water line for the steam fonction, therefore I need to buy that. It seems to accumulate some lint around the seal of the door, but apart from that, it does it's job!

Our current dryer vent is 4inches off the floor, if we go with the pedestal for the dryer will the vent still work. ELFG7637A
