Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product I'm not sure if I've even purchased anything this cheap that has resulted in such a big quality of life improvement. My house is old and uneven, so I was always having to block my door to keep it open in the summer. I installed one of these magnet door stoppers (white) and it works exactly how it should. It has a bit of spring in it which acts as a cushion (just like a regular door stop) which is great and adds to its usability. I installed mine high up on the door instead of near the floor. The door stop and base sit on the wall and door at a point which is over my head (I can walk under it) so it is not an intrusion. I installed it high up like this because that is the nearest point between the door and the wall so the door stays open at the maximum width. Just know, you can install this door stopper where ever you want on your door and it will work just the same. The magnet is strong enough to have no problem keeping the door open, but it's not so strong that it's difficult to close the door. Anyway, great product. highly recommended. Every time I open my door and it clicks into place I am grateful for this product.

Will this be able to attach to a hollow core door?

Yes, especially if you can place the attachment on the bottom part of the hollow door where it has reinforced material and possible to attach 1 or 2 screws.
