Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works This tool works great. I had to dig 10 holes for new fence and I had no problem. I had to admit I was lucky to avoid big rocks in Kanata area. It will dig hard clay with a small rocks. Also I found this tool better then gas one because 1.It does not need second person 2. Hole is just enough to put 4X4 post 3. It will not create soil mess on your grass 4. The rental price for gas hole digger is the same price to purchase this one I found that wet soil works better with this tool. I am pretty satisfied with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Tool I don't review too often, but I try to when an item exceeds my expectations. This is a solid tool and I found it much easier to use than expected. The only potential downfall I can think of is that it may be easier to use if you are tall. I noticed it was a full foot or more taller than other post hole diggers I looked at. I loved the fact that it was longer because I am 6ft3 and I hardly had to bend my back :)
