Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely Durable!! I run a small property management company. I do a lot of spring and fall cleanups and I go through a large amount of bags every year. I have found the HDX Large Outdoor Bags to be larger, thicker, and more durable than a lot of the competitor offerings on the market. Our city compost does not allow dumping of bags with yard waste. These bags have held up well to grass clippings, leaves and small branches allowing them to be reused after dumping at the city compost site. These bags are the perfect size for my Rubbermaid 32 gallon Brute Trash bin that I use on a daily basis.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as big as expected I got these bags to use in a large wheeled 121L garbage can. They aren't big enough to fold over the top. They also aren't long enough to sit on the bottom of the garbage can and come out the top. These aren't advertised as being heavy duty and they certainly aren't. Fairly light weight and thin plastic. They are the kind of bag that you worry will break when you fill it with garbage and try to pick it up.

I was surprised by the durability for a standard garbage bag since we generally end up tearing the garbage bags if we put too much in them. They are not contractor bags and you cant use them as such especially with sharp edge materials. We can put alot of waste materials in them and they rarely tear due to weight or stretching. I keep 2 in garbage bins in my shop and they both have these bags in them. They are easy to tie up and do not require extra zip ties like some other suppliers.

I find them to be very strong and I have much better luck with these than the "normal" brands for garbage bags. Thanks for another great home brand product. I will continue to buy these going forward.

What is the thickness of these bags in .mils?

The package does not give a thickness. In my opinion they are the same weight as the average store brand black garbage bag ie: Canadian Tire
