Rated 1 out of 5 by from USED TO BE the best garbage bag ever..but I have purchased these bags for years and found they were the best bags ever. However, in the past 6 months or so I noticed changes to the bags that are annoying. Originally, one bag could be pulled out at a time, now they are attached in one roll and you have to feel along the side to find the perforation in order to tear it off. The last two boxes I bought not only are the bags hard to get out but they are somehow fused so you cannot find an opening to get inside the bag. Then if you work at it long enough and finally get it open, you cannot shake it out to get air into it. You literally have to get both arms in to force it open. Seems like it is sealed with static. The price of the box have gone up and the quality has gone down. I will not purchase these bags again.

I am very impressed by the tough construction and quality workmanship that goes into each and every bag. I recommend this garbage bag to every patriotic Canadian who appreciates a fine Canadian product and wants to support high paying Canadian jobs. This is the only garbage bag that I would recommend to my friends and family.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Used to be good... now they are disappointing. I have used these bags for several years to keep my acreage/hobby farm clean. They were great for that use. Up until recently. The plastic is a lot thinner than it was, and now the bags are prone to tearing or failing when lifted. They hold a lot but that's not useful if the bag is going to tear! I think HD must have changed suppliers... the box used to say they were 3 mil (?) thick but that isn't on the box anymore. Very disappointing.

Fortunately, I don't overload them so punctures and tears are not that frequent. May not be great if you really load your bags with volume or very heavy items with a lot of sharp points.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful, frustrating waste of time. The bags are essentially fused together so you can’t open each individual a bag. I’ve been trying to get into one god the last 10 minutes. If you want to buy garbage bag shaped pieces of black plastic these are the things for you. However if you want a functional waste bag you can actually use look elsewhere. I’m not the first customer who has had this problem.

I pull the top, wet my fingers, stretch the top, rip the top- still can't get them open. The bag itself is good quality and nice and thick. But not worth the time and frustration to open one up. 4* for the bag itself, 0* for the effort required.

Why are you using reviews from 5 years ago when the product has obviously changed it is crap now 10 minutes to get a bag out and open. This is not the same product poor business practices high lighted here!
