Rated 3 out of 5 by from Safety glasses I received these safety glasses as part of a promo. What can I really say about safety glasses. They are pretty standard safety glasses with the same design as about a hundred other manufacturers. The performance is exactly what you would expect from safety glasses. They work fine. They fog up when you get warm or hot and sweaty. The scratch resistance is about the same as any other safety eyewear out there. They are cheaply made, but for the selling price, they do their job. I still have both my eyes, so that’s a plus. I would reccomend these for anyone looking for inexpensive safety glasses. Hope this helps in your decision making.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Second Pair / DIYer These are great alternative as a backup pair or for DIYers who don’t need the more expensive features like rubber / foam eye cushion or anti fog. They are very light weight when you compare it to other basic safety glasses. They are comfortable and easy to forget they are there. I compare them to another basic set of glasses that are rubber tipped and heavier. I prefer the HDX as their lense shape is more contouring to your eye and covers a bit more of your face for that unexpected debris. Bottomline is that these are a great pair for your DIYer to your Professional.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome glasses! I really love these glasses, they are cheap to purchase but are great quality they are much more durable in terms of scratching and are comfortable to wear. I am a tile installer and use my glass a lot while using my Wet saw and these are my first choice always they usually last a few jobs and then they just get replaced easily I think they are seven dollars which is nothing and also they are not too big that they obstruct your view. I highly recommend these glasses if you are looking for lightweight high quality cheap glasses

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfectly clear glasses For me the ultimate test of safety glasses is if you forget you are wearing them! This is that pair! I have been in construction for almost 20 years and very few glasses past that test. These are also very light weight and don't press against your temple and make you sore. Yet they stay on when working face down. So far after a week of wearing them they are still clear with no scratches. Just keep them safe when not wearing them. I would recommend these to anyone! Absolutely 5 star glasses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crystal Clear Safety Glasses I happened to have a few pairs of these safety glasses, prior to receiving one to review, and have to say that they are simple and well made; I abuse my safety glasses, they've fallen countless number of times and been thrown in the bag with various "sharp" tools, however they have survived quite pleasantly. Eventually after continual usage (1-2 years) they will develop some scratches, at which point I'll toss them and open up a new pair. I really like this style of safety glasses, they cover the eyes well, without feeling bulky on the face; that being said, unlike the HDX direct ventilation glasses (https://www.homedepot.ca/product/hdx-direct-ventilation-clear-safety-goggles/1001609535?rrec=true) or the HDX visitor glasses (https://www.homedepot.ca/product/hdx-clear-visitor-glasses/1001609539), this style does leave some space at the bottom and top for fine particles or liquid splashes to come through. Overall, they are stylish, provide crystal clear vision, and enough protection for most applications. Summary: Style : 9/10 Protection : 7/10 Value : 9/10 Recommended : YES

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Glasses Worked fine for a day or 2. the quality of the plastic is too low, scratches easily , brakes easily too arm broke off with a little pond to the side of the head. need a bit better material and better eye coverage. as to cost if you bought it in the store its too high for the pice of plastic that it is. please don't sell it anyone. hope it will be improved in the future!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from lightweight but do the job These are comfortable safety glasses and surprisingly lightweight. I don't feel like they will last as long as my previous pair of safety glasses. They would be good for a qucik project or if you think of them as a disposable pair. The view through them is somewhat blurry, but all safety glasses i've ever worn are somewhat blurry so that's not really a big deal.

These looks like *maybe* they are designed to fit over prescription glasses? Does anyone know for sure?

These glasses are not meant to be worn over prescription glasses. If you're looking for over the glasses safety protection please check out HDX Clear Visitor Glasses SKU # 1001609539.

Is this shatterproof?

Thank you for your inquiry. This product meets the CSA Z94.3-20 standard which requires the safety glasses to meet a certain impact resistance outlined within the standard. In order to pass the impact resistance testing, there can be no contact made with either eye after impact. Additionally, a lens may not fracture through its entire thickness into two or more separate pieces. Upon impact, the housing (frame) shall not produce fragments that could come into contact with either eye. This model should only be used as directed on packaging. Please review the warning label provided on the packaging before use.
