Rated 3 out of 5 by from Easy to Install but Auto changeover does not work Bought this for my father to make it easier to set temperature between heat and cool. He is 93 and thought this would work for him to set once and leave it. The package says auto changeover between heat and cool. Install was easy but the auto function does not work. I phoned Honeywell 2X and they could not help. I have a T6 Pro at my home and i tried the auto change over and guess what, it does not work either. Can someone sort this out for me?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really happy with product and customer service! Thermostat was very easy to install, I had to call Honeywell with a question about the wires (as ours were different than the options in the manual) and the rep was very helpful. Even with the phone call, installation and programming took no more than 20 minutes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Honeywell unable to provide support! I just spent 1 hr and 50 minutes on their help line. The manual said if you need help call their number - after a 1 hr and 50 minute wait your going to be too mad to get help, my solution for me is never to buy Honeywell again. They have 133,000 employees you would think they could have enough to support our purchases - NOT! I'm convinced that their 38 Billion in sales is just too much for them, I hope others will agree and will try to shrink their sales, maybe they will figure out getting too big might be a problem. I'm very curious why they would be getting such a huge call volume, maybe there produccts are good for their engineers and maybe not for us home owners. I don't think I want to figure it out, my choice is to return the product and buy from a mfg who will support our needs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cautious before buying I bought this yesterday to replace a dying Honeywell wifi thermostat. I assumed replacing a Honeywell with a Honeywell would be simple. After opening the package reading the instructions, I’m told because the current thermostat uses 8 wires I’ll have to hire a contractor to install this one. Couldn’t this be indicated on the package or web site ? The support link provided takes me to the manual already open beside me. What a waste of time. The hvac system I have is a high efficiency gas furnace and air conditioner, both installed with the wifi thermostat 8 yrs ago.

I want to replace my current Honeywell Class 2 30v (2 wire) thermostat. It controls a Belimo CQKB24-LL Zone Valve on my hot water heating system. Is this a suitable replacement. Please confirm that it doesn't have a mercury bulb.

Installing a T2 thermostat. Problem, old thermostat has 2 wires, one white, one black. White connected to a "W" next to "RH" which has a jumper to "RC". below that the black wire is connected to a "B" What do I connect that to on new thermostat?

Asked by: JosephC
I believe it needs to now go into the C connection (which was your B before). Must there be a 3 degree "deadband" between heating and cooling? Eg: If max heat is 78F then cooling must be set to at least 81F? I want it at 78F all the time on auto changeover. Is this possible?
