Rated 2 out of 5 by from What have you done? I've had 2 of these in the past (when they were red). They were some of my favorite go-to tools for light duty work around the house. They worked flawlessly. These new ones are junk, jamb up easily. Its too bad. HD must have found a way to make them 5 cents cheaper.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A very useful tool with great potential I am an electrician who has owned this tool for the past 3-4 years and have unfortunately gone through about 4 pieces. It is an extremely useful tool; I cannot imagine my work without it. Yet I would like to say that it needs to be modified for professionals. This multi-tool: - needs to be lighter - needs to have longer bits and thinner body - it absolutely needs to be tougher to withstand higher-torque jobs (I put too much pressure on it and wrecked it several times) - it needs to work without jamming (this knocking 3x on the ground gets annoying) - HOME DEPOT/HUSKY: make it as expensive as it needs to be for this multi-tool to work properly - it has a huge potential. I tried using something else, but I'm so used to it and unfortunately need to carry a back up set of screwdrivers for higher torque jobs. Thanks."

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Here's how to fix a jam This is a pretty excellent screwdriver: good bitset, ergonomics, and the coolest action ever. Unfortunately, as other reviews have mentioned, there are a few ways to jam it. However, the internals of this driver are pretty foolproof; simply remove the three screws on the end where the bits come out, and push down all of the bits into position. When re-assembling, be sure to replace the cap and screws in the same orientation as they were before disassembly. Hope that helps! Happy screwing!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is only a screwdriver Ok. This is only a great screwdriver, not a chisel, not a hole punch, it can’t be used with a hammer, it’s only a great convenient screwdriver. It is accessible and will dismantle if YOU have accidentally jambed it. And you can drop it and it won’t break. Quality Control at the factory? It Varies. Each batch is questionable regarding the sliding of the bit. Sometimes jambs. But for convenience when you need 3 ‘drivers’ on a ladder, roof or crawl space it’s wonderful. But I do expect better quality for the price. Then again, I have to member it’s not a chisel and will not withstand a hammer tap.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It's Unfortunate I absolutely love the idea of the screwdriver, super convenient. Unfortunately, lifespan is exceptionally short-lived. The first one lasted for about six changes, then it broke down and I exchanged it for a new one. The new one lasted for about the same amount of bit changes. Definitely a huge design flaw. I'm not going to try a third one because it is a design flaw, not overuse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You can't go wrong. Just read the other reviews. Dropped it many times and always works. Havent stripped the bits yet. Best bang for your buck. Hope they never stop selling them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tough and Handy! I bought my first Husky Retract-A-Bit for my wife last year to replace an inferior multi-bit driver. She loved it and after using it a few times, I was very impressed with the quality. I started a new job working on a large suspension bridge and my first purchase was a Husky Retract-A-Bit for myself! I has been an invaluable tool with there being so many different types of fasteners that I come across on my job. Now for the "TOUGH" part. While out on the 'cat-walk' under the bridge today I dropped my screwdriver! It fell 150 feet to the hard shore below. I went to retrieve it, without much hope of it being usable again. I found it and after a quick 'tap' on a nearby rock, it was as "Good as new". WOW! I totally recommend this product, you won't be disappointed! TOUGH & Handy! Thanks HUSKY!
