The Husky 70-inch Steel Truck Box creates additional storage options for your full-size truck. This all-welded steel box has a rugged treadplate surface and finished with a UV-resistant powder coating to withstand the elements. The included mounting kit provides quick and easy installation without drilling any holes. The top lid opens easily with the assistance of two gas struts, which also securely keep the lid open while you access the contents of the box. The total storage capacity is 21,344 cubic inches and there is a removable tray which provides a space to organize and access smaller items. Your tools and supplies will stay secure as the box has dual locking points for added protection.

The depth is awesome as he can fit his compressor in the box so it doesn’t have to go in the back seat of his truck. He is very happy with his truck box!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Husky tool box Nice tool box but the latches keep sliding off. It'll be locked then while driving, the lid unlocks and opens up while driving. Have to be careful on the perimeter, the lid open during driving.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lid closing mechanism held by rope now. The handles that close the lid doesnt keep the lid closed even with the lock on a little bit of a bump and the lid flys open.

I haven't used it yet as it is sitting in my garage till spring. bought it to sit ahead of my fifth wheel hitch. So, I cant comment on the use or how well it will stand up. However I looked at a lot of other boxes at other retailers and liked this box more for less money. Also was the only one in the black color that I could find that was reasonably priced.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Assembly quality, key quality Great sturdy box. Fits nicely in my truck box and sits nicely at the bottom of my rear window. Found that the two handles were not snapped in and I had to take a rub mallet to bang them in place. Luckily it worked and there was no damage in doing this. One of the keys does not easily go in. Not sure why at this point. I will spray it with wd40 and see it that inproves it.
