The Husky 52-inch 9-Drawer Mobile Work Center in Textured Black is great for storing and organizing all your tools and hardware. The solid top with a stain-resistant protective coating provides a large surface to work on. The mobile work center is made from high grade all welded steel construction and finished with a tough industrial textured black powder coat paint. 9 drawers provide a total of 16,361 cu. inch storage capacity. Drawers are all full-extension and glide effortlessly on ball-bearing slides that can support up to 100 lb. These slides also have a unique Secure Latch retention system that ensures your drawers are completely closed and secured. The full-length top drawer provides storage for larger tools. An ergonomic handle and 5-inch x 2-inch casters allow you to easily move your cabinet around your workspace. Total weight capacity of the cabinet is 1,200 lb. The Mobile Work Center also has an internal keyed locking system, with 2 keys provided, for added security.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Yeah it's alright It's alright, doesn't sit level anywhere because I'm pretty sure it's tweaked a little bit. Drawers feel fine for the price, had it a few months and it seems to be doing well. I wouldn't recommend putting a lot of weight in the top large drawer, use it for some of your favourite tools you grab a lot and your wallet and whatever. The hardwood top is very soft and you can put marks in it with your fingernail, so I'd recommend grabbing some thick plywood and screwing it in so that you can change the top out when it gets wrecked since the wood on this thing is easily damaged and is glued on so it can't really be removed easily.

It took 7 people (in-store, on the phone and online chat) to figure how how to get me the keys. Well over 9 hours of my time - imagine what would happen if I wanted to be reimbursed for that! It’s sad when most of the solutions given to me was to pack up the 300 lb item and bring it back - FOR A KEY. One person actually had the nerve to tell me they could not wait on hold with the vendor any longer because they weren’t answering! Um....WHAT???? It may be time to change our purchases to the Canadian owned and operated Company! I am sure nothing will come of this review!!!’

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Depends on what you need it for! - As a big tool box, I rate it a 5 out o 5. - I don't move it around too much (with stuff in it) as it feels too wobbly for my liking when I do so! - The locking mechanism is a joke. It refuses to unlock, and I have to try and jiggle the key more than a few times to unlock it. One could easily break the key inside the lock if one isn't careful. - The holes on the handle bar (used to move the workbench around) were not aligned with the holes on the bench which prevented me from installing it. (I could file the holes, if I really wanted to install it) - But like I've mentioned, I only need it as a big tool box, and for that purpose I absolutely love it. For the price, it certainly is very good value!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed in many aspects I'm disappointed in many aspects. 1) Many aesthetic defects that shouldn't have passed quality control : dents, scratches, bent metal, ... etc (packaging was good, so I really think it comes from the factory). 2) I can see some rust at one place. Not much, but I don't think this is acceptable. 3) Especially for the bottom right one, some drawers are very difficult to close and open. the force required makes it difficult to open them smoothly without throwing the tools inside. 4) Wood is not that good looking in the front where there is a knots. Not that bad, but this wood part should have been discarded. I'm returning it and will consider another brand. It seems that this tool box has lost quality over time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent Value, Minor Inconvenience w/ My Unit Generally pretty good value for the money, so far. The casters would be a little nicer if the wheels were a softer/grippier rubber (not sure if these ones are plastic, they feel pretty hard). My one gripe is that my bottom-right drawer requires a significant amount more force to open than the others, to the point that I have to use my fingers pressed against the frame to counter the pull weight or the whole unit moves (even with the castors locked). I tested a couple of the other drawers and they take 8kg-10kg of force to open, but the stuck one requires 16kg; doesn't sound like a lot, but it does make it a bit of a pain to use. Not the end of the world by any means, but a little frustrating when the intent is to use this for many years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best box for the price! You can't get a better box for this price! Pros: All the drawers have liners and ball bearing full extension slides. The 18" depth still has room in the drawers for all the tools I needed to load in without protruding out from the wall. Sturdy construction. Wooden top was surprising flat (considering our dry climate compared to where it had been MFG.) Bottle opener! Packaged nicely. Cons: Yes there are four stickers attached to the front of the drawers but it only took me 5 mins. to remove and clean up with some Goo-Gone. Not 1 1/2 hours?! They where nice enough to include but not install the french versions. The castors aren't as sturdy as the rest of the cabinet but do the job and look alright. They're hard plastic and I think at some point I'd swap them for rubber wheeled locking castors. Had the whole cabinet assembled (bottle opener and handle installed), castors installed and cleaned up and de-badged in about a 1/2 hour. I'm buying another.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Craqué après 10 mois, fausse garantie! Au départ j'étais très satisfait par ce coffre. Imbattable au niveau du prix et exactement ce que je voulais en terme de grosseur. Après 10 mois, les coins du haut ont commencé à craqué. J'ai toujours bien pris soin de mon coffre donc quelque chose de très anormal pour un coffre ''heavy duty''. J'ai appelé le service à la clientèle (garantie 3 ans) et tout ce qu'ils font s'est se renvoyer la balle entre Husky et Home Depot sans jamais me donner de solution ou de remplacer mon coffre. Vraiment très déçu! Pourquoi offrir une garantie 3 ans si vous ne la respectez pas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Husky - Best value for the money. The build quality, functionality and size makes this a super deal, in my opinion. I was also really impressed with both the care taken in packaging and simplicity of assembly. Bolt on 4 wheels, a handle and you're ready to stack it full of tools. The cabinet is strong and the drawers slide perfectly on the ball bearing sliders. As an added bonus, it comes with precut, high quality drawer liners. I wish I'd bought the 52" version, because I went out and bought more tools.

no the pre assembled nuts are inserted only on one side. I do like the box for the machine shop I have. I bought 2 of them and they came with the matts for inside the draws as well.

Is the wood top thick enough to put a vies?

Is the wood top waterproof and secured to the body? Or is it sitting loose? Is it prone to warping in moist environments?
