Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy To Install Pine Boards I used these boards in my utility room where sheet panelling or drywall would have been impossible to install. I wanted them white so I primed and painted them before installing them. As the photos show, there were a lot of obstructions including pipes going through the back wall. These boards made it easy to get in behind the water tanks and work around the pipes. The boards were straight and any knots were tight. The actual coverage of each board is 5" due to the overlap. Fastening was easy with a narrow crown air stapler but nails or brads would work too. I decided to install them vertically to make the room feel taller since it is in the basement.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Disappointed Ordered online. When I picked up order, Home Depot loaded it on my truck. When I unloaded the wood at home I noticed that over 3/4 of my order was unusable ( missing knots so there are large holes in it, not good when you are making a door with it, dented wood, cracked or split). I will be returning my whole shipment. None of this would even sell at a reduced price unless you needed firewood. I would be embarrassed to sell this damaged wood if I was a manager at Home Depot. Certainly not worth the full price I paid for it. Need to train their employees to differentiate between good wood and damaged wood for online orders. I like to pick out my own wood but with the covid restrictions can't do that right now. Very disappointed and will be buying elsewhere.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Quality control definitely lacking The build quality of this paneling is pretty terrible. Most of the pieces were either cracked or had major knots that penetrated through the width of the board. These were delivered so perhaps some of the physical blemishes can be attributed to the delivery, but again, there are hairline cracks in 90% of the boards within bundle. As well, the size and depth of the knots would deter me from going with this product again. On several cases the substrate behind the panelling can be clearly seen through the knots. It's too bad, as the pattern and thickness of the paneling are really quite nice. The shiplap groves do fit well together and the factory molds seem to be bang on. Just really too bad that the quality of the wood itself is so abysmal.

I had to return 20 of them because they were either so warped or ripped that there was no way that they could become a finished product. It is not something I would order again in line. The staff do not take the time to look at the products. They just fill the order.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed is an understatement. I would not buy this again, almost every piece of wood was warped and almost impossible to get on the wall perfectly. Also this would does not stain well. Any oak stain makes the wood look really dirty and not nice at all. We managed to get it up on the wall but it took way more work than expected. It also needed to be heavily sanded as it had so many rough patches. I bought these as a more affordable option rather than PVC panels but I quickly regretted that decision. These panels are meant to be a decorative wall piece! Home Depot should not supply warped pieces for $20 a panel. Truly disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Un-sanded finish makes installation time intensive The Knotty Pine Fluted boards would be a great addition to bring some traditional wood accents to a room. They are easy to install; and slot into each other well (screw them in with finishing screws or finishing nails). They can be easily cut with a table saw, miter saw, jig saw, etc. The downside to these is that they are un-sanded; and due to the fluted profile, sanding them is a very time/labor intensive job. It would have been far better had they come pre-sanded from the factory. They can be easily painted after installation.

how much square feet does each pack cover?

Each board covers 3 square feet. This particular product doesn't come in a pack - it is an individual piece. I bought individual boards - each board is 1"x 6"x6'. So to calculate what I need quickly, I basically took 2 boards and it covered 1' x 6' - therefore 6 square feet for two 6 foot boards. I don't know how many boards are in the packs though if they sell a pack.
