Thought i did my research and ordered this - took 10 days to get it. Replaced my 20 year old refrigerator and oven with Kitchen Aid appliances. On Thanksgiving - 3 weeks after purchasing - it was found warm/thawed and control would not work. Food spoiled for 10 people for dinner. Called customer service to please come and check/fix and they cannot come for one week! Unbelievable for a new refrigerator and even worse that it won't even get checked for another week. Unfortunately my 20 year old working refrig was hauled off when I purchased this one. Will not buy or recommend kitchenaid to anyone again.

However, it has never properly worked since it was delivered to my house. The freezer constantly freezes over. The light gets frozen in the freezer and will not come on when the door is opened. I have had four different service visits. The problem is still not fixed. Buyers beware. Do not purchase this product. KitchenAid simply wants to continue to "service" this lemon refrigerator instead of replacing it. Very unhappy with not only this product, but also KitchenAid customer service period...

Never improved. Also, what's with crisper bins having fancy sliding humidifier settings when the bins themselves hang open a half inch at the top, even when pushed in as far as possible? Yes, the frig is very pretty and the interior water feature worked well but neither makes up for the fact that the appliance doesn't work properly. The seller sent technicians to inspect/fix it but they agreed it was a lemon so it returned. Shame on you Kitchen Aid. I then opted for a Kenmore Elite.

I bought this Fridge about 7 months ago, but had to wait about 6 months before finally getting it installed. Our family loves this fridge, it’s not loud (except when the Ice falls into the tray, but that’s not really a big deal). The colour is really nice; I think I preferred the Kitchenaid Matte black a bit more, but am not disappointed at all with this one. The only downfall with the fridge is that the shelves have about 1” – 1.5” gap from the back of the fridge. Kitchenaid should’ve really made the shelves closer to the back so you can fit more things in this fridge, especially since it is counter depth.

My fridge handles are coming lose, the fridge compressor violently vibrates and shakes intermittently, and the temperature control is not stable so it causes freezing and thawing in the fridge. Called warranty Twice and Warranty is sent to 3rd party that do not care whatsoever about the product and do not attempt to fix anything saying the fridge is normal and not to put grocery near the back of the fridge as its cool spot?? So you're buying a $3000+ fridge and can only use the front half of this fridge... My old GE was light years ahead of this in quality... In the end, DO NOT BUY KITCHENAID.

We were very used to having a much larger refrigerator at our prior home. When we purchased our new home we two options: 1. Find a fridge that fit our space (next to impossible) and 2. Make the opening of the built-in area larger. We chose to try and find the right size fridge that would fit the current opening. This project took quite a while and was VERY resourceful. I finally came across the KitchenAid and it fits perfectly. We had specific desires as well, including water in the fridge with filtration which this fridge provided. Kudos to KitchenAid for making a product that no one else has! Thanks!

The vent that pumps cold air imto the fridge compartment is located on the bottom shelf all the way to the back of the fridge. I spilled some milk and cleaned it up. What I didn't realize is that the milk went into the vent(which is completely exposed) and into the mechanical parts. A day after the spill the smell of spoiled milk was noticeable. Kitchenaid had no recommendations. Repair company said they cant do anything. A $2000 fridge ruined by a cup of milk. Thanks kitchenaid.

I never had an ice maker before and now I see why people love this feature. The indoor water dispenser is fine, though the water isn't quite as cold as I'd hoped. I would have preferred a larger fridge, but this is the only size that fits my space. It can hold everything I need for my small family and the shelving is fairly flexible. It's very attractive and quiet. I kind of wish it had a digital thermometer readout, but the food is kept at an optimal temp for me at coldest setting so bottom line is....I'm more than satisfied.

Are the door panels absolutely flat or slightly curved?

Do you have to hook this up to an external water supply for the water and ice? It says "interior dispense" so I'm not sure what that means.

Hi Rommel, KRFC300EBS has an interior Water dispenser and an icemaker in the Freezer. The dispenser refers to the location of the spout but the hookup would still be external. With a Produce Preserver, this refrigerator absorbs ethylene gas emitted by many fruits and vegetables, causing them to over ripen. By removing ethylene, the produce preserver helps extend freshness.
