Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best pliers on the market Pliers, they are great.. actually, better than great. Perfect. If you can buy only one tool for your toolbox, this should be it. It can be used in a million ways without a compromise! The purchasing experience however is a little disappointing. Item will show in stock at your current store in Western Canada, but your purchase will ship from Illinois and take 3 weeks to arrive. That's a truck load of wasted resources, imo. If I had been informed of this, I would have made the time to go to my local store .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Expensive, but all quality Quality tool, probably overkill for the average person outside the trades, but if you make a living with it it's worth the price. Won't mark up fittings and the grip power is awesome, jaws open very wide as well. Easy to adjust on the fly, much like the knipex cobra pliers This is a buy it for life product, you won't be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth Jaws will not damage smooth surfaces Self locking pliers adjusted with push button. Jaws open to 1-3/4 inches. Thickness of jaws 5/16 inch. Jaw design allows tight grip of flat tin or steel allows you to bend things back into shape. Standard non slip handles. Once jaws locked in place you only have to apply pressure on top handle to get more leverage on those stubborn rusted piping. See my You Tube video " Knipex 10 inch Pliers Review "

Rated 1 out of 5 by from BUYER BEWARE Purchased this plier in Sept 2022 The FIRST time I used it , to hold a stripped steel screw, the tip of the jaws chipped in 3 places, the metal is clearly not hardened, very disappointed of the value for what I paid. So I started a claim process and they want ME to pay for the shipping so it can be 'inspected'. Be very wary of the quality and customer service of Knipex. Last tool I will buy from them.

Any friend of mine who knows anything about tools has given them a try and asked where I got them because they feel so natural in the hand. Definitely in my top 5 hand tools now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bang for your money and great quality. Used it all the time it’s just so handy. German made workmanship is just so perfect and well designed. I owned some of the other styles knipex pliers and very pleased with all of them. Paying a little bit extra dollars was worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality tool You can't go wrong with Knipex, Presision made. This tool can last many years. When you applied pressure on this plier, it multipier that force by 10 times on the jaws. A must for the electrician and mechanics.

How large do the jaws open? How large of fastener would a 10" tool accommodate?
