The Concealed Hinge Jig takes the guesswork out of installing cabinet doors using concealed hinges. This economical, easy-to-use jig ensures accurate hinge alignment, so you can install doors that fit great and work well. Plus, the Concealed Hinge Jig works with an ordinary drill and the included carbide tipped bit.The Concealed Hinge Jig allows you to drill cup holes for concealed cabinet door hinges (sometimes called Euro hinges) using just a drill. The jig positions an included carbide-tipped bit exactly at the proper position and offset, and drills to the perfect depth every time thanks to a depth stop collar. The jig is simple to use, and it ensures that you can mount cabinet doors that fit great and work properly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Kreg concealed hinge jig Bought this to install 26 oak cabinet doors. The guide on the first one melted when the bit overheated while drilling the fifth door. Thought it was because my drill was slipping on the bit causing it to overheat. Bought another one and used a new drill with a keyed chuck to ensure no slippage. Second one melted after about 10 doors. Bought a third one to finish the project on time and was able drill the remaining doors. I was checking the bit after each hole and waiting between drilling to ensure it didn't overheat but the second one still melted. Bottom line don't use plastic for a drill guide. I wish I had purchased a more expensive metal jig in the first place.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great concept, poor build quality and material The tool concept is great, and the dimensions part is quite good. The problem is that the drill bit is nowhere near as sharp as it needs to be to cut through hardwood, and this caused lots of heat from friction, with wood burning, the tool rod getting so hot that the plastic frame melted. 50+ dollars down the drain and a job that is only one third complete.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job, as advertised Does the job. Did a full kitchen with 28 upper and lower cabinet doors, and worked great. Was kinda tricky to line up my markings with the tool, and the tool has 1/8” of play to account for, but adjustable concealed hinges can accommodate for that. If doing more than a full kitchen, Kreg tools should build a version with metal inserts to improve accuracy.
