Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wish they would upgrade the packaging! This product performs well, however it dries out in the tube after just one use, even with the cap tightly on the tube. It also separates in the tube into liquid and solid parts which are then unusable. If they could put the product into a sensible container so that the consumer could use it properly and store it afterwards until the next use that would be brilliant! I have now tried to keep the tube in a resealable baggie so it hopefully wont dry out again. (I had to dig out the first 1/2 inch of dried up product just to use it).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stay away! This thing is dry out of the tube, impossible to apply or to manipulate. I purchased it to save a few bucks as I only had 2 holes to fill instead of my usual box of Elmer's and I hardly regret it. Now I have to sand everywhere I tried to apply it and also to go back to home depot to purchase an actual wood filler. Please, don't do the same mistake as me to save $2!

Once I removed the old planks I found large cracks in the supporting beams underneath and also on the fencing. I used this filler and it worked like a champ! Its easy to apply, dries quickly and very easy to sand. I'm very satisfied with this product.

I have 3 very naughty cats, and they have caused alot of damge to our wood trim and banister, while sharpening their claws. I used the plastic wood filler to repair where they have shredded the wood. It works great, took many coats to fix the damage. I love that its a different colour so easy to see when you go in for another coat. I actually had to.purchase a second can to finish. I haven'tpainted over it yet, but it seems that it will.paint with no.issue after a quick sand and prime.

I’ve been searching for a really good wood filler that I can stain to match and also paint. I can’t wait to stain the two spots so they are seamless and I also cannot wait to use this outside when the weather is warmer (I live in Canada) this was exactly what I was looking for. The product set well and sanded easily. I put a thick layer in the bigger hole and it cured amazingly. Thank you influenster ❤️

I made a table with wooden planks I from my old fence. I placed the the planks side-by-side and because the edges were rounded, I ended up with a "groove" between the planks. Will this product fill these grooves properly? Color when dried?

I used this product to patch up a small hole on the side of my hot tub that had rotted over the years. The patch has held together wonderfully outdoors for several years. I stain my hot tub annually with a light Cedar-colored stain and it matches almost 100%. Nobody would notice the difference but me. I suspect a darker stain/paint would cover even better. Hope this helps

Do you sell the 162 milliliter squeeze tube of Plastic Wood? A larger squeeze tube makes filling small holes easier and lasts longer.

Thank you for your question. LePage Plastic Wood Filler is not available in a 162 ml squeeze tube. The squeeze tube comes in 30 ml only, while 473 ml and 946 ml come in a can.

Hi. I need to fix the area behind a door strike. Will this product take and hold screws?

LePage Plastic Wood Filler can be screwed into, but may or may not be suitable for use behind a door strike, as frequent impact and expansion and contraction of the surrounding area may cause the filler to crack or break over time. If you choose to use our product for the application described we recommend filling deeper cavities in layers, in accordance with instructions on the product's technical data sheet found at lepage.ca
