Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent adhesive I use this on wood and styrofoam projects, it expands a little, proportionally to the amount of moisture in the substrate. Great for filling the gap around a loose Dowell in a hole.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Don't leave it outside. This is my fault entirely. Note to novice glue users. Leaving the glue out in sub zero temperatures will make its water content freeze and it will become useless. Any wood glue will do this. Be advised.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money. I primarily wanted this to stick plastic to wood for small projects. It has no hold. One piece fell off from simple gravity. I had the pieces clamped and glued for over 24 hours.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No good after 6 months Bought this 6 months ago. The glue is very effective and I was able to get good use of this for a few months. Unfortunately, after 6 months the glue turns to a rubbery mess making it unusable. Lid was on tight so really should not have done this. Never had a problem with this company but will revert back to their normal carpenters glue.

Does this glue bond wood to wood in temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius

I do not think it will cure at temperatures below 0 C. The chemical reaction is based on the glue absorbing water, usually from the air which is problematic below freezing. All chemical reactions slow down as the temperature decreases so at best the cure time will be very long.

I have a kitchen cutting board that has a small crack. Can I used this glue to fill that crack? Is it safe to use on food surfaces?

This glue would fill the gap but it would not be solid. As it dries it develops air bubbles. So it would not be useful for your needs in my opinion. What you need is a glue filler that’s not construction grade polyurethane that comes out of a gun. Try this product it also comes in colors. Go to ‘Sugru.com’.  Look around you’ll find what you need. I want to glue leather to a wooden handle will this work good? this need to old strong

Thank you for the question. LePage does not speak to leather as being a suitable material to bond with the LePage Polyurethane Wood Glue. This is not to say you cannot try but it is not known what kind of results you can expect.
