Rated 5 out of 5 by from Have had ours 10 months now and love it! We have had ours for a full 10 months now and have had no issues at all with it. I love it. It is so quiet and never thought we would car about it being wifi, but it's great to be able to check on how much time there is left without having to go to the laundry room. Lots of drum space so can handle larger loads and a lot of options for cycles. I am so happy with the machine. Only complaint I have is in the design of where the filter is, and you have to take the entire machine apart to get at it to clean it. That should be something I should be able to get into any time I wish, so I can help keep the machine clean and remove anything it has caught...especially as we are a multi pet family.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Piece of junk, horrible warranty service. Don't buy this piece of garbage unless you have a crush on your maytag man and need an excuse to get him to come to your house. I've bought this machine twice in the past 18 months and they have both broken down. The first time, they couldn't tell me when the part would be available so I just sucked it up and bought a new one. Now, 6 months later, the new one is broken too. It's all to do with the control board - apparently it's a known problem but they keep selling this piece of tin.

I like the detergent auto dispenser, and thought the Wi-Fi would be a gimmick but it’s actually really handy as I often forget to put wet clothes into the dryer. The fresh hold feature is also very nice. It has a nice big capacity and cleans clothes, bedding, and towels well. The only criticism I’d give is the sounds it makes; The starting beep is negative sounding, like you’ve done something wrong. Hard to tell if it’s started or not. The engineers should have made it more clear with a ding or a display of “start!”

It can not be turned off and we have to throw detergent in the door before starting the washer. Had I known, I would not have bought this model.

Efficient, quiet and looking forward to seeing the cost savings over time. Have done everything from small loads to big loads of towels and sheets. Really love the soap dispensing, fill it up and good for a doz loads. Screen prompts when you need to add more. Has light inside the drum which is nice when emptying the machine.

I like the fresh hold feature and the auto dispensing detergent reservoir. The wifi capability could use some work but overall this is a high quality washing machine. How when the same cycle setting runs an extra 10 to 15 minutes longer than my old Whirlpool? I basically use the timed dry setting because my stuff dries in no time but...if using a cycle..runs for way longer than it should. Lastly...the door is so cheaply made. It will not last...guaranteed. Its like it was designed to be a pull down one then installed to side opener. Handle is on the top yet it opens from the side. Not a good design at all.

The high spin speed removes the excess water, immensely reducing dry time. The extra large capacity drum makes large loads of laundry that much more manageable. The sanitize feature also helps to remove smells/bacteria from workout wear in just one wash without pre-soaking first!

Hi how do you access pump to clean out possible socks etc. On the Maytag Doesn’t seem to be front panel you can easily take off.

Hello, Please see the steps below for cleaning the pump from the Use and Care Guide for this model. IMPORTANT: Make sure the washer is off before cleaning the drain pump filter. NOTE: Perform the following procedure occasionally. 1. Open the dispenser drawer by pulling on the handle at the base of the washer. This will reveal the drain pump filter. Remove the drawer by releasing the tab on each side. With your finger, push down on tab on right side of drawer, and up on tab on left side of drawer. 2. Place a broad, flat container beneath the drain pump filter to collect the drain water. Release the black hose from the hose clip, remove the plug, and drain the hose into the container. Empty the container. Repeat this procedure if necessary until all the water has drained. Make sure that the black hose is completely dry, replace the plug, and secure the hose in the clip. NOTE: If water does not drain well, push in hose slightly to remove any possible kinks. 3. Lay a cotton cloth beneath the drain pump filter to absorb any water still in it. Then remove the drain pump filter by turning it counterclockwise. 9 4. Remove large clumps of lint by hand from the filter and place lint in a suitable waste container. Remove remaining residue from the filter by rinsing with water. 5. Reinsert the drain pump filter by turning it clockwise. Make sure to turn it in as far as it will go, with the filter handle remaining as close as possible to the vertical position. 6. Replace and close the dispenser drawer. Make sure to insert both rails simultaneously when replacing the drawer. You will hear a clicking sound that indicates the rails have engaged. To ensure proper placement of the drawer, pull out fully. The drawer should be fully engaged and the rails locked in place. Make sure the drain hose is secured in the hose clip and tucked underneath the cutout - Whirlpool Central Advisors
