Rated 4 out of 5 by from Install with care The paper template for these towel bars is very accurate. I have one that has been installed for a month, and the bar is solid. For DIY installers who are not "experts": if installing into studs behind drywall, you must account for the width of the collar on the toggle anchor (you don't need the full anchor in this case.) If you don't provide this little extra thickness, the set screws will not fit into place. Poor and inadequate instructions provided by Moen.

Can it be used inside a shower?

Yes, I think that would work, but you would want to consider siliconing around edges. Also, if always getting sprayed with a lot of water, expect water spots / calcium build up, which can be challenging to remove on matte black accessories.
