Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cracks easily inside This product is so brittle inside that it cracks easily unlike the original we had before when we bought our house. I bought one and replaced it, the next day I have to return it to the store because it was broken. Good thing Home Depot replaced it. After 17 months it broke no matter how careful you are turning it slowly, it cracks easily. The acrylic material Moen is using is not strong enough. They should replace it with other type of stronger plastic material that is not so brittle. If there's only other choice of knob similar to this, I would buy it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor quality part Product is poorly made, cheap acrylic. Breaks under minimal pressure. The original mentioned part lasted 20 years. This knock off lasts about a year. Please stock the oem part. Id pay double.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Appears to be cheaply made. Just installed this product. Seems extremely flimsy compared to the old, original part that lasted for nearly 30 years. I was gentle installing out of fear the plastic would snap. Terrible instructions as well. Washer was included, however I could not find a use for it... Old assembly did not have one. I am not optimistic, especially after seeing other reviews about the quality. Apparently Moen does offer a replacement of this part for free if you contact them. I am going to look into that and hope for the best. Spending $40 on something that seems very flimsy is not sitting well with me but I needed a working shower head. This is the only optional available at Home Depot. Will update on the quality of this product and the Moen lifetime warranty policy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money This replacement handle didn't last three months. The acrylic is not as as strong as the original. Was not caused by a sticking cartridge as that was replaced as well. Don't waste time any money replacing these.
