Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not really sand... This would qualify more as "crush" -- the rocks inside were the size of peas, but with strong angular sides. While useful for some traction situations, do recognize you're not buying "sand" in the traditional sense of the term.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a Traction Sand Not a Traction sand, i almost fall on it, it kind of round little rock, it make it more slipply on ice. I almost fall on it after apply it on the ice. End up i have to sweep all out. It unlike the one i brought before, it kind of white with shape edges, that can cut into the ice, the bag was wire tight on the opening, same Quikrete Traction sand, same packaging. The one they brought it to me was sawing on the opening, same Quikrete Traction sand, different rock inside. Not recommend to buy, you will make it more slipply when walk on it, it won't cut into the ice to make a good traction, the rock just slide off and make some one fall, it even better to walk on the ice without this traction sand on. Waste my time and money. Should have no star on this traction sand. That no way for me to add some photos here.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent for Traction With the wet heavy snow it was hard to get traction. Shovelled the deep snow and then poured about 3 bags in front and around my vehicle. It has really helped to get traction on the ice. Highly recommend.
