can this product be used on its own or do you need to buy a hub or some other additional product to get this to work?

Hello jojo8484, Great question! The Ring Floodlight Camera Pro requires a 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz 802.11 ac Wi-Fi network connection to be setup within the Ring app. It does not require a Ring Bridge. Is the light fully waterproof? I want to make sure it is as my last one stopped working due to water dripping on it from my deck above. Looking forward to hearing from you with your recommendations.

Hi Bikerchic77. Thank you for asking! The Ring Floodlight Camera Wired Pro is weather-resistant and can operate in temperatures from -5°F to 118°F (-20.5°C to 48°C). It can be installed on a wall or an eave, but it must be installed on a 4" round UL-listed weatherproof electrical box.
