Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sweet little cutter. 3rd cordless tool in my Ryobi collection now, ordered for cutting open transformers and other small jobs. Just used to cut a few now freshly topped new HP batt, used half for these cuts. Now keeping in mind it's still below zero Celsius outside where I used it.... It is down to 2 bars. So maybe last 15 minutes below zero on a 4Ah. Probly much longer in normal conditions. I'll adjust in the summer. I love it. It's a grinder, they use alot of power....... so, have some spares or a larger battery for harder jobs. Hard to find bigger than 6Ah though.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lackluster performance no better than the brushed I was truly disappointed with this purchase, not because it does not work, but the performance and RPM of this model isn't that much better than the brushed model, even with the high performance battery. The lack of on board wrench storage on this model compared to the brushed model is another pain point. I understand the limitations of cordless grinders but this should just be a pass in my view.

I'd lo e to tell you about thos product but the type in the manual is so small and the book itself is so disorganized that its more of a pain than its worth. Hey Ryobi, there is this thing call AODA Guidelines. If you want to be free of liability, you should probably makes sure your safety instructions meet them....or at least something similar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from At last ! I have my cordless grinder/cut-off tool Although not a tradesman, I used my angle grinder/cut-off tools a lot. But as I got into cordless tools, I got put off by having to haul out and drag extension cords. So I found other tools to do most of those jobs. I'd been spoiled, and that usually took longer and didn't always go very well. When I got into the Ryobi One+ line, I wanted one! So I started watching YouTube videos to make sure I remembered how to use the tool. And that was a good thing. Some are only for grinding, unlike my old ones that also did cut-offs. This one is nearly double the price of the other Ryobi model, but it does everything. It uses both types of wheels/discs and comes with both guards. Plus it is a more powerful unit. It feels solid and well built, and it feels good in my hands. What a blessing it has been! I've used it several times already and it definitely won't end up in the bottom drawer, alongside its corded cousins. In fact, I have several new Ryobi tools, maybe about 10 so far. This is the heaviest, most serious of them, even relatively speaking. And it may just be my favourite.

I am assuming its a 7/8" arbor?

Hi there, Thanks for reaching out to us regarding the 18V ONE+ HP Brushless Cordless 4-1/2-inch Angle Grinder (Tool-Only). This tool has a spindle thread of 5/8 in. x 11 UNC. The grinder includes a nut with a 7/8" hub to take standard grinding and cutting discs. So it will take 5/8 threaded wheels (typically wire wheels, flap discs, etc.) or 7/8 flat wheels (cutting/grinding discs.) What is the differences between this (Model # PBLAG01B Store SKU # 1001599487) and Model # PCL445B Store SKU # 1001692013? I see only the big different in prices.
