Rated 1 out of 5 by from Depressed centre disks type 27 ONLY not type 1 Bought this for a job on the thanksgiving day weekend. It even shows that they paired it with a type 1 disk online, such a fail, well major warning on the inside of the box saying not to use type 1, major fail no info on the box outside or anything online in the description I have to return it now my project is also delayed. This tool is meant for do it yourselfers not a good idea to not have the info on the box

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for light duty Bought this to help take down a very old, rusty shed in our backyard. Found that it worked, but also found it is very particular about how you mount the wheel on it. First time it looked like it was on properly, but after turning it on, it went elliptical and dug into the protective barrier. After that I found it worked well at cutting through the sheet metal - just be sure to always wear proper eye, head, and ear protection, as well as proper clothing and shoes. Seems good for light duty so far.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cannot use with cutting discs. I was disappointed to read in the fine print that this is not rated for use with cutting discs. This was a real disappointment. It would be a steal of a deal at the price, but not ok for cutting.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No Cutting aloud! I bought this about 2 months ago, brought it home and actually read through the manual (which I almost never do). When it said no cutting, with wording like serious injury or death it took it back. I did really like the tightening tool storing in the handle and having three different handle positions, the one I bought didn’t have either of these fixtures, but it could cut as well as grind. If all you want is a grinder, this is for you.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Excessive heating. I bought this product on September 16, 2020 and used it to grind natural stone for interlocking. The motor felt so hot such that I had to give it time 20 minutes or so to cool down. Before completing my project, I started smelling burning wires and that was the end of it. For me, it was a disappointment. I didn't even complete my project using a brand new tool. I don't recommend it.

Will this grinder cut through a padlock?

Can it take carpet glue of the concrete?

Yea but it will create a lot of dust enormous amount so if this is inside you will have dust on everything

Can this be used to sharpen lawnmower blades? if so, what type of disc do I need?

Hi, Will this grinder work with a Diablo Steel Demon 4 1/2-inch Type 29 Coarse Finish 60 Grit Grinder Flap Disc for Metal Grinding/Polishing? Will the existing nut you provide be enough to hold this grinding disc in place, or do I need an adapter?

Hi -fabian, Thanks for reaching out to us. This 5.5 Amp Angle Grinder uses a universal arbor and locking nut to hold on all types of cutting, sanding, and grinding 4.5-inch discs. As long as the Diablo Type 29 disc has the same arbor size than it will fit. To better answer this question you may have to contact Diablo for their measurements. We hope this helps! I just bought this angle grinder, how do i get angle grinder to stop vibrating so much, its impossible to hold

Hi Randy, As mentioned in another comment our RYOBI 5.5-amp 4.5-inch angle grinder needs to run at a high RPM/speed to perform most tasks. All angle grinders will vibrate like ours due to the high RPM ratings. We would advice to ware some textured gloves to help with grip. We hope this information helps! Thanks, RYOBI Canada.
