Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent outdoor fabric protection Used this on the 10x12 gazebo roof. I may have been a bit heavy handed since it’s hard to see sometimes if you’ve missed a spot so I used 3 or 4 cans. Not one drop of water has come in, I have started leaving the cushions out there because even in storms the water doesn’t get through, last year I cover them or brought them in because of random leaks. Plus the fabric colour is not fading. Highly recommend.

Is this product appropriate for outdoor patio furniture made of resin? Will it protect it from from sun damage?

I don’t think so It is for the fabric cushions to repel water and protect from fading. It works quite well. Make sure to let it dry properly

Will this work well on faux sued to protect it form fading and against stains? Also, can I use this on any furniture or this is just for fabric?

Hi, thanks for your question. In general, Scotchgard™ Sun & Water Shield can be used on patio furniture fabrics, nylon, canvas, polyester, and leather. If in doubt, test a small, out-of-the-way spot first to make sure your fabric will stay colorfast.
