The SharkBite-Check valve prevents the reverse flow of water. Innovative push-to-connect design makes for quick and easy installation on PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT and HDPE lines. Can be installed horizontally or vertically. Ideal for working in tight spaces. Faster install time and ease of use reduces installation errors.

  1. Compatible with PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT and HDPE pipe.
  1. No tools, soldering, clamps, unions or glue needed
  1. Demount clip allows user to release the pipe from the fitting if mistake is made (sold separately)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Easy Inline Install (PEX) - Worked Great! Very pleased with this SharkBite Check Valve. Removed an inch of PEX line and installed this in mere seconds. Not a single drip of water during test. Needed to know it is water-tight because this is installed in my basement ceiling cavity above a ceiling tile. Our local code requires this device on the line to our outdoor hose bib for the new swimming pool. It negates the likelihood of pool water being returned into house drinking water. We left the valve exposed and inspectable for a bit so we could keep checking - no issues at all. We confidently reinstalled the ceiling tile 3-4 days after.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Check Valve I used this on my hot water recirculation system. I was worried there would not be enlugh pressure generated by the small pump to push water through the check valve. It works perfectly. It took less than 5 minutes to install. No leaks. Great product.

Does this check valve reduce water pressure, volume/flow/GPM, etc? I plan on using this on my irrigation system before the valves and don't want to restrict flow or pressure to the zones.

1. What kind of damages could occur to this check valve if the following liquids pass through it: a. Vineger? b. Descaling chemicals for flushing heat exchangers? 2. How much drop in water pressure and flow rate will occur when water passes through it?
