Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor design. Do not expect it to last Mountings are very sensitive and can easily be broken. Sizing is very important on this. Got it mounted finding that I had mounted the pieces too widely apart. While trying to see how to fix this, the plastic ring and spring on the inside came out. The internal mechanism is too fragile. Plastic ring on active side came out. At times so did the spring underneath. Blind does not hold its position anymore and so it either falls down or I have to manually raise it and secure it with something. Honestly the old style metal bracket blinds were better. Very, very disappointed. Hopefully I can find a way to convert both back to a conventional blind.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great blackout shades I bought this for our bedroom and I love it as I mainly work night shift! I also bought it for my newborns nursery and I must not have measured right because when my husband went to pull-down one day the whole roll fell and a spring came out! So now if I want sunlight in I have to take it all down and roll it up and just sit it upright on the floor by his window. Unsure how to fix this? I’d hate to have to buy a new one if this could be fixed? Does anyone know how to fix this ? I still love it so much!

The hardware honestly is simple and there’s a little opening latch that makes it easy to sip the end into. I have bought higher end blinds which were $400 each with installation so this is a nice affordable option. I would just say when measuring window allow some wiggle room for hardware.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible hardware The blinds look nice but the hardware is absolute trash. The plastic is fragile and you don’t get any extra screws. Out of 4, 1 was ok, the other head broke off so the screw is stuck in our trim which we can’t get out, the 3 & 4 shredded so easily. Now the base is stuck in our trim and we can’t get it out.

How do you clean these blinds? Are they waterproof?

Dear Bob 898. As confimed by the retailer below, this product is not waterproof. You can maintain a clean look by dusting the fabric with a duster or by using a vacuum with a soft bristle brush attachment.
