UFP-Edge Timeless trim is the perfect complement to Timeless nickel gap shiplap. Timeless shiplap and trim feature clean lines and a beautiful finish, and they are a perfect touch for interior walls and ceiling projects. Each trim board has a smooth sanded face that is primed and finished with a topcoat of high-quality paint. Each board is made from finger-jointed, clear (knot-free) Radiata Pine, which keeps it straight and resistant to warp.

I've used other products by this company and it was great, so when I had a new project I grabbed a bunch of this, but this was different wood feel and the layer of prime/paint began peeled at the edges and any cracks very soon after install.

im looking to finish my gas fireplace surroundings with this product, is it fire retardant?

This product is not designed to be fire retardant. These boards are primarily intended for interior decorative use and are pre-painted for convenience.

Is this a fire resistant product?

I think that this question would be better directed to the manufacturer.  I just had it installed in our home but I would suggest that it is NOT fire resistant.

I’m not sure! But if you have a scrap piece you can always bring it to the Home Depot and they can match it. I’ve done that in the pass. I give this product 10 great product and easy to work with

Hi, IF my wall is larger than 8ft , and i want to install my shiplap horizontally ... Do i have to paint the sides of the boards? So i dont see the seams? thanks

Renee Gaudreault, the ends of our Timeless collection boards will be color matched and should not need painting. If the boards are cut, they will more than likely be placed against another board or wall to conceal the exposed end.
