Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very stylish and compact This is a very compact and barebones 24" gas range/oven and I would have been glad to give it a 5 star rating, but there are a couple of issues. The smallest burner on the lowest setting is still very hot, so forget about simmering. One of the igniters gave up on me just a few weeks from new, so I have to use a propane lighter to light the burner. No big deal, but still. This appliance is either for someone who does not do much sophisticated cooking and baking, or for someone who, like me, is so good at it that they can circumvent the very crude temperature controls for both the range and the oven. All in all I love this appliance though. It is very well built and great value for the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect We were a little hesitant at first as we had not heard of the Unique brand, but almost all of their products had very positive reviews. Finally received the range and it is everything we wanted and more! Plenty of power in the cooktop and the option to use the convection fan in the oven is a nice touch. Much nicer looking range for this price point. Will recommend to any of our friends looking for a 24” Gas Range.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful but could be better… The stove is beautiful, especially in black. The cast iron grids are solid. It looks great in my new tiny home kitchen where only a 24” stove would fit. That said, I think this stove was designed by a non-cook. For example, the oven only has temperature marked at 50 degree increments. The knob itself is loose so setting temperature involves turning the knob to the approximate location and using an oven thermometer to adjust. Setting the temp to 375F for example takes a bit of tweaking to get there (oven will go too hot and then you have to nudge the knob lower and release heat to get to the temperature, which once set might stay there). Also, the oven drawer holds baking pans but is narrower than the oven itself so not all pans can be stored in there. The Range itself feels like it’s made of thin metal, thinner than any other range I’ve used before. Not sure if this matters if it’s in place between two cupboards but compared to pretty much every other oven I’ve used, this one feels cheap and I’m not sure how long it will last. The GE that was there before I replaced it with this one was much more solid and bigger inside. But it was older and I wanted black so I chose this one on its looks. Maybe I’ll get used to it, but I’m not exactly thrilled with it. I feel the price is too high for the quality of this range.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 24” ss Unique gasstove In all fairness: there’s absolutely nothing wrong with the units itself nor the design, as we really like it: other then the fact that the ss-metal sheets used on these stoves must be one of the thinnest gauge thicknesses sourced possible! Subsequently & most unfortunately, judging from the feedback; it turns out that these units are still too delicate to handle for most Canadian shipping/trucking companies out there, who still haven’t been able to figure out how to deliver these rather well packaged units unmarked & without any damage! I guess somehow they still get dropped onto or off their lorries by incapable & uninterested storage clerks or truckdrivers by the looks of it! I for one, should have read up on all the feedback beforehand and not on hindsight, like most of us customers have the tendency to do, as we also received ours with major dents/scratches on the one side, the rear of the and a couple of very minor ones up front of the unit! The Importer/distribution company might have to rethink its transportation contracts if it wants to continue representing the brand & selling these units!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Purchased last September Installed late October 2020. Neat and well built top burners ok but oven takes 30/45 mins to pre.heat to 350 or400 degrees.have to use separate oven thermometers none on the range.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product We've had this for about 3 months and it works awesome. Some reviews are not positive as i read and decided to take a chance and so far has been a good choice. It fit perfectly in our Park Model trailer.

HD salesperson said it was made for off grid & would work without electricity as it had ignition battery backup Comments suggest otherwise. Can the oven be made to operate without power to hold the gas valve open? This is a deal breaker.

Asked by: gragor
My gas fitter husband said no. The top burner's can be lit with a lighter, no problem, but not the oven. The oven requires the ignitor to operator which is powered by electricity and you can't bypass that. There's no manual workaround.

Does it work with propane and no electricity?

Asked by: Michel
The stove works. The oven does not. I been through two power outages with mine so far. I love it. You will need to light the burners when power is out.  Easy!
