Rated 3 out of 5 by from Leaks but fixable The vileda spray mop has some problems. The bottle is fine and can contain the liquid when it is on its own not plugged into the mop; no leaks. When you are mopping the liquid leaks out, especially when you tilt back to sweep under the bed. The bottle when held in the Mop will press on the bottle's nozzle to open up and the seal on the bottle is not tightly coupled to the Mop so slowly the liquid will spill out. I feel a good spray Mop handle lever should be controlling when the nozzle of the bottle should be open or closed. Update DYI: I bought some rubber o-ring and found 14 x 2.5 size works for this Mop. I removed the original rubber ring from the nozzle and replaced it with a 14 x 2.5 o-ring. Once on, you have to give it a bit more force but you will hear it lock in place. This seals perfectly and no leaks. Been pretty happy with this result. When you pull it out, it is a bit tight so just need a good grip to yank it out.

It is a lot sturdier compared to my old spray mop. The mop rotates 180 degrees very easily, making the cleaning process easy and less straining. The mist from the mop is also a good amount of spray to clean the floor. I really like the fact that the cleaning pad is detachable and machine or hand washable. That’s another pro. Saves money on buying refills like other brand’s mops. The cleaning pad surface area is also larger compared to other brand mops. I would highly recommend the Vileda promist mop.

Son réservoir est assez grand pour passer la mop sur une grande surface sans avoir à le remplir à nouveau. Le système de vaporisation est super puissant, je peux humidifier une bonne partie du sol d'un seul pschitt. La mop est sans pareille, elle est tellement mobile qu'elle va partout même dans les coins et elle a deux facettes. J'utilise la deuxième face pour sécher le sol. C'est un balais très utile pour un nettoyage quotidien quand il n'y a pas trop de saleté.

It helps me keep my home (especially the kitchen) always with clean floors between my major mop and bucket deep cleaning. I can't consider this mop the main cleaning mop because once you wipe a few times with it, it fills up with the dirt and you are essentially mopping the dirt around, but it's perfect for its other purpose - the quick clean up, honestly I love it for my kitchen. I have dark floors and every drop of water makes it look like a disaster , so having this is so handy. It sprays really well and hasn't leaked at all. It's also very easy to maneuver.

Not only the spray mist action (so you don’t have to have a bucket of water with you all the time) but the fact that the mop itself is washable and reusable! Plus with it being microfibre it’s fantastic that I only need water to clean. Makes me feel much better since I have a busy toddler running around and don’t want her touching any chemicals on the floor. I have been using other floor cleaners and other mops like Swiffer WetJet for years but am so happy with this as it does just as good of a job without the harsh chemicals! Love it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Convenient to use (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Its good for the price. Convenient to use as you don’t need a bucket to mop the floor. As compared to other spray mop in the market, Vileda added features like a 180 degrees flipping head, a small cloth hook to keep the mop head align with the mop stick for better storage and a small measuring container for your chosen floor cleaner. However, i do find that the grip/handle is quite hard to spray especially if you have a small hand because it’s made with glossy plastic material and there is a tendency for your hand to slide. So far, it does the job. .

I already have the Vileda EasyWring Spin Mop, which I love, but this makes small spills super easy to clean which is very convenient since I have 4 kids (who are very prone to spills!). This will get much more use than the spin mop because it’s so convenient to pull out of the closet and quickly clean up messes and spills in the kitchen.  I put the mop pad in the washer with the rest of my cleaning cloths and it comes out good as new. I highly recommend this product (especially if you have little ones!). *Incentived*

Je possède déjà la vadrouille de la même marque que j’adore, mais avec un enfant de 2 ans qui veut « aider » constamment, c’est plus difficile! Il y a aussi la gestion de l’eau avec tout ça! Par contre, avec le ProMist, non seulement je n’ai qu’a utiliser une minime quantite de produit, mais c’est SI pratique que je peux la sortir apres chaque repas pour nettoyer les dégâts. En prime, je peux laisser mon tout petit m’aider avec cette tâche sans avoir peur des dégâts d’eau!

How do I use safely use the mop for laminate flooring? Is it safe to still use 2 tsp of cleaning solution with water?

Hi! The ProMist Max may be used on all hard flooring. Be sure to use cleaning solution that is suggested for your flooring type and able to be mixed with water. Before cleaning it is recommended that you test the cleaner on a small inconspicuous part of your flooring before you clean the entire space. Prep your flooring before mopping to pick up and remove any loose dirt and debris. Loose particles can scratch laminate floors and cause them to streak and dull.
