LT4 box is equiped with a screen that filters the air that feeds into the dryer exhaust fan. The screen catches any airborne lint in the ductwork that isn't caught by the dryer's lint screen

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Door Pushes Out After running my dryer a few times, the door would no longer stay seated in the box when I turn the dryer on. I added velcro to the inside border of the door the meets the box to keep it latched. So far this seems to do the job. I have seen other brands that are designed with magnets to keep the two from separating due to the pressure in the dryer duct. It still deserves a 3 star, as it does a decent job of trapping the lint that escapes the main lint trap. As well, the box is metal which is a lot better than another brand I had which was made of plastic, and warped after the first high heat cycle.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor seal, leaks air Not recommended. Does not seal properly. Air leaked from the pressure of air blowing through dryer, so dust from lint was getting in. We temporarily used a plastic bag to help seal it until we could replace the whole system. Done. This was a waste of time and money for us.
