The thermostat allows you to read the set-point temperature, but also the actual temperature being sensed in the home. You can manually set the temperature with this thermostat by just moving the latch. This product is mercury free and works with Single-Stage Heating and Cooling Systems. This thermostat also works with 24 Volt and Millivolt Systems. Compatible with standard heat only systems, standard central air conditioning, gas or oil heat, electric furnace and hydronic(hot water) zone heat-2 wires.
