Inexpensive and good solution for us. We wanted a place to hang hand washing where it wouldn't be visible in the bathroom. Small items like masks, gloves, scarves... We hung the rod over the tub near back wall & above height of shower tile. We put shower curtain hooks so that we can attach hangers for bigger items. Have even hung a large tablecloth attached to several hangers. End result - functional & out of sight when we close the front shower curtain. It obviously would work very well as a shower curtain - it's primary intent.
