Rated 5 de 5 de par Helped to Drain the Water Soaked Yard With Florida summer showers almost every afternoon, my yard has become saturated with standing water. Because the water is not draining, it takes a long time for the yard to dry out. We decided to help it along by purchasing the Ryobi telescoping pole pump. Right out of the box it was an easy setup and easy to use. We elected to attach a garden hose in order to direct the water where we needed it to go. Once switched on, the water was moved quickly and efficiently out of the wet areas. Once the standing water was cleared, you could see the yard draining into the now-empty holes. It is the perfect tool for keeping the water moving!

Rated 5 de 5 de par Excellent for SUPER fast water Pumping This pump from RYOBI is exactly what I needed to drain my hot tub for the next fill cycle. This pump was able to drain 1450L (360 Gallons) in under 20 minutes. The battery percentage used was only 25% of my 4.0 Ah HP battery. The only issue I had was the hose was not long enough wasn't long enough for typical discharge. I had to buy another hose and use ring clamps to attach to it. It was not ideal and it leaked a tad bit - but this wasn't a big deal in the end. I would recommend this to anyone who needs to drain a large body of water in a quick manner without messing with traditional sump pumps and electrical cords!

Rated 5 de 5 de par wWen you turn it on be ready to move some water! I have the Ryobi transfer pump which does OK but is kind of loud. I have several rain barrels and used it to move water. The Pole pump moves big water much faster. There’s a basin in my back yard that collects water. It does not have a screen over it. Yesterday i noticed a bunch of mosquito larve wiggling around. The solution - pump it to a covered barrel. No more larve. It’s been a wet year in California and I wish I’d gotten this sooner. Highly recommend this. P.S. Watch where the discharge is pointed when you turn it on - did I mention big water? My shoes wern’t water proof and the water was cold.

Rated 5 de 5 de par One of the best Ryobi tools I own. I am 79 years old and in excellent health but have been struggling with the pond in my back yard to clean and remove the water without getting into the pond. The telescoping pole pump lets me stand up without bending over straining my back and removes the almost all the water in a couple of minutes. This is one of my favorite Ryobi tools and I highly recommend anyone that needs to move water, buy it without hesitation. It is fabulous!!!

Rated 5 de 5 de par Excellent pump I wrote a review on this pump singing it’s virtues. The white hose has deteriorated probably because i left it out in the sun. I’ve had the pump for a1.5 years and it’s pumped a grunch of water from our koi pond and from rain barrels. My hose is now mostly black as it has cracked numerous times and I’ve had to tape it back together. I wish I could buy a replacement hose. I still rate this pump more than 5 stars!

Rated 5 de 5 de par great for an above ground pool I use this transfer pump to remove excess water from my pool after a heavy rain fall, and during the winter to remove excess water from my winter pool cover. You can’t beat the convenience of a cordless tool, PLUS it pumps water 3 times faster then my small electric transfer pump, and it’s quiet. Just drop it in with the offset attachment, bungee it to the side wall , connect the hose and pump away!

During a recent storm I had several low spots that flooded around the foundation of my house, pooled up my boat cover, and filled several tubs on my property. This pump was incredible! How big of a hole do I need to drill in the top of my rain barrel? Will 1 1/4 be big enough?

No!!! Ryobi’s answer is incorrect! I just now tried inserting this pole pump into one of the two holes (2” diameter) of my emergency water barrel. It does NOT fit!! See pics. Unfortunately you can’t remove the wide filter assembly at the end of the pole.

The "underwater reach" is listed in the description as both 3.5 feet and 3.5 inches. Looking at the item I assume it's 3.5 feet. Please confirm.

Any way to pump from a 1-1/4 diameter shallow well head? Will it pull up from 20' down? quieter than the transfer pump?

Hey Ryobi, this looks like a really cool product, but I would love a version of this that could handle murky water and debris. I’ve got a small goose pond with a liner that I clean once a week that something like this would help get the mud at the end.
