Rated 5 de 5 de par Mudroom rebuild I selected Slate colour and I am very happy with the result. The Installation was not difficult. Having a measure twice cut once attitude, Take your time. Youtube had endless DIY instructions, Great material and finish. Matching Trim was available on location. I did use a different colour starter strips. You will not see it. I took two full weekends to complete a 450 Sqf mudroom. I know slow. However, for my first time it came out great. If I do say so myself.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Good product poor service! The product is very good and I found it easy and fun to work with even though this was my first time putting up siding (on a large garden shed). It is well made and the accessory fittings like J channel etc do their job well. I managed without a zip tool but did buy a tab-making tool for the cut edge of the top of the siding under the roof overhang and windows. I used aviation shears to do a lot of the cutting complemented by a fine toothed hacksaw where more convenient. The instruction leaflet is well written and presented. It is very important to realise that vinyl expands a lot with temperature and so for example you must not drive nails fully home but leave them loose. I have been very disappointed in HD’s lack of customer support during this covid-19 crisis. I ordered online for home delivery and got order confirmation but could not get further information on the status of my order until several weeks later it suddenly showed up at my house without prior notification. It was just lucky that I happened to be at home at the time. There is no web site or telephone number where you can ask for more information. The website just jumps from “order confirmed” to “delivered”! HD have not even aknowledged my letter of complaint! That is poor customer service.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Replacing 40 year old vinyl siding. Thought it would be difficult to match 40 year old vinyl siding; I only needed one section to do a repair job. Home Depot had it online, I ordered it and no-charge delivery only took a couple of days. The colour match was close to perfect. Unbelievable!

Rated 5 de 5 de par Sturdy, affordable, well designed. Easy to work with, solid, looks nice, affordable. The Cedar Creek siding products (j-channels, starter strips, corner pieces, etc) made my first vinyl siding project (large backyard shed) a success.
