Rated 5 de 5 de par HAPPY SO FAR......CHECK MY REVIEW ABOUT BURNERS NOT GOING LOW ENOUGH TO SIMMER Very unhappy that the burners wouldn't go down to simmer. Food kept sizzling or bubbling on the lowest flame. Was going to call the dealer or Amana but looked online first. Check out research.rolfes.org or put in your search line "Amana range doesn't have simmer". This person posted pictures and step by step instructions on how to adjust the flame. It involves taking off the knob and using a skinny flathead screwdriver to turn the screw (to the right). Not a lot. Pop on the knob and test it. In 5 minutes I had all 4 burners adjusted so they ALL go from High to Simmer. NOT just the one in the back.

We did have electric and switched to gas- and we appreciate things like the adjustability of the burners etc. I do wonder why my burners “woof” on so big at ignition- especially the front ones- though my husband isn’t as concerned. One problem we’ve had, though, is that the back right burner is so low that you can’t see the flame, and with no indicator lite, it isn’t obvious if accidentally left on!!! We really miss indicator lights. And the front knobs are perhaps a little too easy to bump on- that has happened once so far.,,

I'm a senior lady and those full coverage grates are too much for me to handle. Also love the broiler in the oven. that's VERY important to me. Like that the oven light comes on automatically when the door is opened. Wish it had a light fixture on the instrument panel like all of my other stoves. Kinda wonder why the oven pops so much when in use. Never had that with all my other gas stoves. All in all, I would highly recommend. Great stove and I got it at a great price. Also...it came with the conversion kit to LP. Happy, Happy, Happy!!

Rated 3 de 5 de par NOT submitted as a sweepstakes entry, like ALL the rest I am on my second unit, 3 days old, and it has already had a service call. 1st unit oven wouldn't light, replaced stove, 2nd unit the oven temp was off 50 degrees, (past the 48 hr mark, no return) to much too adjust, so needed new circuit board. This unit replaces a 20+ yr old Amana gas stove that we were very pleased with. Not so much this one. Thin cheap oven grates, bottom drawer is thin and no longer on wheels, just slides out and gets crooked. If I had it to do over again, I would have repaired the old one at half the cost, but 50 times better in quality and workmanship and even ran quieter. When the oven kicks in, there is a rather loud "boompp". I miss the good ole days when a name brand stood for something you could count on. If I could figure out a way to return for a refund, I would!

Rated 5 de 5 de par Definitely recommend this range [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this range for my new home. I love the design and the black finish. The single burner grates makes it easier to clean as compared to ranges with the large, heavy grates that cover multiple burners. I have had ranges with the fifth burner but found that I never used it. This range doesn't have it and that makes one less things to clean around. Perfect! I have only used the oven once so far, but it cooked very evenly. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The only negative was the extremely long wait time for delivery, but we can thank Covid for that.

The oven is very roomy, and I especially like the dual-size burners. My only frustration is keeping the look of “smudge marks” off from black surface! This is my first experience with a black range and all attempts (including online recommendations) and various cleaning products and cleaning cloths do very little, if anything, to eliminate the look of smudge/grease looking swirls on the top and burner surfaces. If I would have known that this was going to be an issue, I certainly would have opted for a different color. Any cleaning recommendations would be appreciated!

Rated 3 de 5 de par It's ok [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave up my old stove to charity and got the Amana. I should have expected it but it was certainly less than what I had. It seems much more "tinny" sounding than my Magic Chef but things are made cheaper now than in 2000. The rings asround the burners stain quivkly and you CANNOT get them clean even with steel wool. I am disappointed for sure and wio probably replace this one much sooner than I did my old one. I had a tech here yesterday and I must admit, the service and the tech were EXCELLENT.

I have two questions: With the door handle what is the width of this gas range? My existing 30 year Caloric has a width with door handle attached of 27.5 inches. I have limited space due to a very small kitchen and can't exceed 28 inches otherwise I can't open my refrigerator. Second question: Is the bottom draw a storage draw or a broiler?
