Rated 1 de 5 de par Arrow T508 1/2 inch staple poor performance. Bought Arrow T508 1/2 inch staples to install chicken mesh. The tips of the staples are flat so they penetrate poorly on regular 1x2 wood. Maybe 1/4 inch deep. Cannot finish off with hammer as staple collapse. I have the t505, 5/16 inch staple with the pointed tips and they penetrate all the way in. Easy peasy. It's a struggle with the 1/2 inch. My stapler will drive up to 9/16 inch staple.Not sure why Arrow didn't make the 1/2 inch with pointed tips. The longer staple needs all the help to penetrate. Very disappointed as Arrow is the top name in this area. Returning to home depot.

Rated 2 de 5 de par Not All Staples are the same. 1/2 inch I purchased a Dewalt staple hammer. No Dewalt staples so I had to buy Arrow T50 1/2 inch for carpeting my stairs. I placed 2 clips of stapes and started my work. All was well until the stapler jammed. I found that the 1/2 inch staples had a row of flawed staples. one side was 1/2 inch but the other was about 3/8 inch. No quality inspection at the factory. I did not see it when I placed it in hammer. After clearing out my hammer stapler that was quiet an issue . I placed new staples in. After running out I bought a new box. I was more observant this time and found another Row of staples that was shorter on one side than the other, another flawed group. Guess there must be 1 or 2 in every box. Be ware when loading your stapler. Also they did not bite like I wanted or expected, had to hammer them deeper.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Does not fit Craftsman 68496 as stated on the box These staples are quite a bit narrower than what the Craftsman 68496 takes, yet they say on the back of the box they are compatible. I brought my stapler to Home Depot to try them, and subsequently broke my it because they are too narrow for the slide to close. I'm sure they're great staples, but please correct the compatibility chart for these, and all other T50 staples you offer. Please also stock some staples that do fit Craftsman staplers. Thank you.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Great for doing an attic The other staples, even in this brand are very flimsy compared to the 1/2". The 1/2 are very good for doing insulation, and perhaps a bit overkill for putting on baffles (maybe use the smaller staples for that). I am happy that they come in the 5000 pack, because I use a ton of these staples. I also used it to put up 6mm plastic after putting up insulation. These are great staples, never had a problem, they just work.

Rated 4 de 5 de par The staples are more brittle than my old staples were. I use them to staple cloth blankets over m... The staples are more brittle than my old staples were. I use them to staple cloth blankets over my flowers during cold weather or frost. Then in the morning I remove the staples and put the cloth blankets away. About 90% of the staples break as I pull them out of the wood leaving each leg sticking out of the wood to scrape or cut me . My old staples only broke around 15% of the time. I do realize that they are not meant to be used this way.... but I could with my other staples.

Are these staples galvanized?

I have an outdoor project and I need to know if I can use them outside.

YOu can use outside but it would be suggested that when used outside that a protective coating (paint,primer) be used to give them longevity.

Hi Scott, If you are worried about the staples rusting then a better option would be the stainless steel or Monel staples which do not rust. However, Please be advised, there is always a possibility that over time they may rust. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you

I’ll be quite honest I have never used a hammertacker before but I’m sure it would say the compatibility and if it matches there shouldn’t be a reason why it wouldn’t work.

Will these staples work with the WEN 61702 air staple gun? The gun says it uses 20 gauge T50 staples.

Yes they should work fine with that gun. Don't forget to put a few drops of gun oil in the air inlet of you gun. That keeps the seals from drying out and blowing.

Hello, there. We would recommend 5/16-inch or 3/8-inch staples to attach the roofing felt. Longer staples like the 1/2-inch may not penetrate flush to the surface.
